I think that it is better to remove the Illusion of being a VN since it is no longer, rather than keep it only to frustrate players later.
It is bad enough that this move happened, no need to fool more people. Just my 2 cents.

*edit: I've found the cause for my problem myself: it was the uncensor-patch (did not match the game-version).

I tested it, and its probably caused by the third party patch, the uncensor. it's not updated for the latest version.

Too many characters, 28 girls, 2 femboys 2 futas.
In VN mode, players were getting impatient waiting for content with their favorite characters. In sandbox mode, you can choose what to do first. I also removed grinding and made sure the story makes sense with careful use of flags. Additionally, there's a quest log that tells you where to go, so there's no need for random wandering.
