my guy hes got better things to do then beef with this developer that doesn't even create his own assets for his own game anyways most of us here know it was stolen because it quite literally matches code he uses down to letter we seen it we don't really need to question it and we already known it was taken without permission

you act like it holds no meaning when i mention that a copyrighted song got taken out after it stayed in for a couple of builds your acting like this developer has no history of just taking shit and using it and then when getting called out removing it not mention the bunches of bogus updates to the game for arcade and holiday modes instead of updating or changing the core game. and again it doesn't hold no basis the ai code being mentioned is being used wrongly in the game as it wasn't designed for the maps its put in and has several issues that actual dev was working on before starting the project from scratch again.

It kindof is with those of us who have been paying on patreon monthly.
exactly people are quite literately paying for game that isn't being developed with its own assets the only time its got its own shit is when people have called out the game for taking stuff that just isn't theirs to begin with. it should have been struck down when it first released with the copyrighted music. and i while we don't know the full extent of the plagiarism it definitely has enough of a track record to justify that scrutiny of credibility. your paying a game held in essence by duct tape and dreams its why it takes so long to come out with updates. i get that taking stuff/reusing it is a way to fast track your game you also gotta be prepared for consequences of not using original content both on the coding and modeling side. on a side note atleast its got a current better development cycle then yandere dev

out of respect for the person who developed the code i can't share to many details as they are working on a project that is currently better then fap nights. the ai is clunky and Amateurishly made, it fits better in larger maps then small ones it was made without help at all this is why in fap nights the animatronics behave the way they do and because the map is so small they can detect you very easily and its hard to Deagro them as again the map they are in wasn't made for their ai and every reconized this since the first few demo builds came out for fap nights and its still used to this day also the vents don't do much in their map the only reason the vents work at all is because the ai in the map it was placed in had vents i also don't have the details on the bugs that came with using that ai as they were only willing share the orginal purpose and again they got better things to do then beef with devopler that can't even develop his own game. but i have feeling the ai also might be culprit behind the animatronics walking through doors in earlier builds of the game before finnaly finding a way to stop it from happening i don't know if they ripped the doors from a diffrent game and the code just wasn't matching well at all but thats basically how its ment to work in the correct enviorments factoring out all the bugs that weren't fixed and like i said before they never gave permission to have their code used in fap nights

The map size is always gonna be a problem with free roam FNAF games like this. As neat as it is to make a more accurate recreation of the FNAF 1 map it just doesn't work when you're getting chased by potentially 4 different threats. Either make the map bigger like the other decent FNIA game on here, Frankie's Funclub. Or just make the animatronics slower and make Fexa a threat you'd need doors or vents for. Hell you could probably bs a reason why they could only go at a brisk pace, maybe their tits are too fat and slow them down or something.

the map size isn't the issue its the ai they are using that's the problem everyone has their own fixes and when you take out of a map that the ai does work much better in and is specially made to work there. especially if its made by an armature no disrespect to the person who made the code but most people starting out usually hide their code funkyness within the map/game segments its placed in there have been good fanf free roams were the ai isn't stuck to one map. but my point still pretty much stands this ai wasn't made for the map they are using it in its just generally made for much larger maps then fanf faps map. which might genearlly enhance the issues mentioned by the dev that they did't go into detail about since code has been reworked to make acutally less painful to work with. its kind like if you took out the ai of yandere sim and then put in a farming sim yes they work the same but they it achive's lesser results ontop of that you might have to sit there hours on end trying to fix code that was made by a diffrent person for a diffrent game that isn't compitable with yours. this is why fap takes so long to update they have to sit down and take time to try and fix code and ontop of that there's the feature creep which breaks even more which is why they split up arcade and the main game because it caused worse shit to contuine happening. in the end your not even paying for a game they made by themsleves your paying for game that basically goes "i want that thing" and then puts it in without a second thought and then leaves it in sure its alot of effort but it still matters so much were they ethically get their stuff from with permission to use it as again the game was very close to a copyright takedown just for the music they took and it might eventually get taken down anyways since they refuse to acutally take time and make orginal assets unless they really have to. i don't know what they said what the final builds price would be but i think last i checked they were aiming around 70-80 usd if not more. the fact there's no credit to poeple's content they are using it just scummy in general

actually this kinda does explain why the free roam o the arcade version is so annoying without cheats if you actually want to do stuff and roam to take things. If the map was bigger then it would justify why the characters don't stay as long in closed rooms 'looking around' the room before starting to walk around again. But, as is, it makes sense the supposedly 'randomly roaming' animatronics for some reason seem like actively looking for you rather than roaming on their own, resulting in the diner area ALWAYS having one to three animatronics in there... if they were made for a bigger map it would make sense to create a sense of actual looming threat to the player, where you can feel 'relatively safe' in an area as long as the girls are away but the question is 'for how long until they make the round again to your area?', and the more girls around the more tense you'd become because there might not be anyone around in sight but what if one comes soon and while escaping that one you encounter the other in a wrong turn? that's fun and engaging!... but in this map? doesn't work because there is no 'questioning' if there are any around, you KNOW there are, and you know the moment you step into the dining area 9 times out of 10 there will be at least 1 animatronic there because there are not that many areas the animatronics can roam and they stay there for long... so it's a constantly moving set of characters in a small area... you are BOUND to encounter them because they are programmed to survey a much much bigger area but are limited.

a way to fix them would be by making them spending more time in each of their areas once they get there, like moving around the kitchen or game area, stopping, moving around that specific room (beyond entering, standing there, and leaving) but that would require a different programming of the characters... a programming that wouldn't be the case in the larger areas they are made for and would require these characters to 'know' when they enter a new area which means personalized programing of the AI.

Pretty interesting stuff to see that this might be a reason why the nights in the arcade mode feel so erratic and crowded.

at one point before it was fixed in many of builds the animtronics would just walk through your doors despite having them closed

I just woke up so idk if this question is obvious but why can't you tell where the AI is from?

As for the chase issue you got a lil companion to distract them with.
I put them in the break room and distract them every once in a while should I let someone/all of them out.
If it wasn't for Type 0 (goldy) increasing the music box speed I would be able to keep them all at bay.
Alas now they made a change to the lil companions so that they all explode after too many uses. (3-4 I think)

Yes, the main issue would be that the game needs a complete overhaul if it wants to be more then it is now.

before this there wasn't any companion that existed to help you this probably another one of their quick fixes they made to try and make it work in this small map

i said in my previous response the person doesn't care for these guys as of right now and is busy working on a project that was better then his previous one as of right now he doesn't want to get distracted by drama, as they are already hurting themselves from not changing or making their own assets
