Tbh they might not even needed to do AI pathing till later on as it's simple to make every girl go to certain locations at certain times and then add an RNG factor to when they move to any other room corresponding to that number.. just regular pathing.
Also they might have a zone shaped as a cone from their "eyes" to whatever distance...
For it to be AI pathing it would be like alien or the other fnaf game that has the AI start searching the locations more thoroughly were the player was last seen and possible outcomes to where they could have gone... even hiding spots or just stick around the hiding areas or sit around some places the player Regularly goes through like the halls or office.
*sigh* No......that is not what I am saying...
I mean code that determines their AI.
Like pre-2019 before the whole generative AI craze started!
Every game has that, how else would enemies move around in Video Games?
Some have set paths others may be coded a bit less simple but generally when talked about that stuff you say enemy AI.
Please do not confuse that...
Imagine the AI actually advance through the nights from night 1 frennie getting the most upgrades each night as she is the first
Then Chiku for night 2 and then bonnie for night 3? and also having more aggressive searches for the player and strict zones..
there is another zone were phone guys office is being under ground and having an elevator that leads down there but the player has to go through the vents.
So each animatronic might start to investigate the first floor till the next zone is unlocked (after night 2 or hard difficulty arcade)
having each animatronic start Patrolling their own zones and becoming more difficult.. especially fexa as ofc she has to be faster...
That is all story areas.
They are not gonna open those up outside the story.
At least I never heard anyone mention that but I don't see it as a possibility either.
Still their "behavior", as I will call it now instead of AI to avoid confusion, is copied from another game and since it was without permission from the one who made it, it was stolen.
Originally intended for a map 3 times of this one the enemies notice you far too easily which is a problem on such small space.
That's what I was saying.
Omg imagine they could go into the vents later on or add some animatronic to do that (unlikely to be Tangle as she isn't corrupted though could be a task to keep alive during the night for arcade to stop "him" or for story being a possible way to save her idk as the "guard" hasn't technically found her yet but might get saved later on by her or accidently find her while running from "him" and Chiku or some other while in the vents by the comic talking about something being in the vents "him")

1. After his comment about her voice, which I would like to hear what that would've sound like supposedly, Idiot is not welcome there anymore and he doesn't really seem to care otherwise.
2. Since they didn't make the code for the other girls behavior they would need to take someone elses code or start coding such an enemy themselves.
But since going through the vents in the current state of arcade mode doesn't seem efficient or even helpful, as the further rooms don't even connect to the back vent system and are more intended for unlocking Bonfie, the cursed train and Type-0 endings, it would be another waste of their time and recourses even concepting such an enemy.
Completely redundant.
3. From that Rat comic that might be this games Springtrap variant.
Don't know too much about this one but seems like it emits some kind of gas.
