Yes I know, but if you're not spending attention for a short second (like I did) the damage could already be done, and a filehoster performing shit like this on its users shouldn't be used.

For the game itself, I cancelled the actual download after reading about the virus warnings here. I'm on a completely fresh setup system and I don't want to download something bad right away.

Okay I analyzed it deeper, from what I understand a XOR inverted url was found in the executable code, which triggered a detection. That url being enigmaprotector site, which is in turn is a type of DRM.

Mayhaps the game uses enigmaprotector and validates through it, but the address is XOR'rd in the game code to make it harder to crack, in turn causing AVs to trip out as xoring a URL could also be used to obfuscate addresses in actual malicious software?

Source: 50% I'm a software engineer, other 50% talking out of my ass because I'm a business software engi not gamedev nor am I good with cybersec.

I genuinely can't find anything else it looks safe to me.

edit1: by this I mean no strange cpu/memory issues, no strange imports/exports, API's, registry is fine. If i'm missing something lmk

Ah, I loaded it onto a virtualbox system, defender was deleting the exe.
Installed all the vc++ versions, when I run it I don't see anything else going on, and there is nothing else installed on that system. Nothing else running but system basics and the nwjs processes.
Doesn't actually run still though, just blank black screen.

sounds like a gpu issue to me, which vm are you using?

Awesome! Never quite thought we'd get another game in the same vain as universal garbage dump much less so an actual sequel (Even if it presumably is mostly separate from the events of the first game. I know the description mentions reuniting with our beloved deviant of a neet from the first game in some fashion but I know not what form that will take so I will have to wait till I actually play it to find out.) so I was pleasantly surprised to see this pop up.

I rather enjoyed the first game, and it seems you've once more managed to make odd or outright strange physiques and forms strangely attractive so I look forward to playing this, I'll likely post another comment once I finished playing

Yeah ran a scan it has a lot of possible malaware inside it... Maybe its he crack, but I don't trust it
