This game doesn't deserve the hate it gets its one of my favorites
The Music is great
The Story is actually interesting
The MC has actual development
The game isn't dumb and suddenly "all the other men disappear"
Your Choices actually matter
The Renders are A1
It's Being updated consistently
Now yes the game does have its fair share of bugs, but the pros HEAVILY outweigh the cons
There isn't really a stat grind per se but I can see where you would get that from but it flows well and it's not one of those repeat scenes to unlock the next kinda games
Give it a chance, especially if you like RPGM games

Quests are bugged to hell. All of the gameplay mechanics are tortorously tedious. There might be some sex scenes in there, but they're not worth it the hours of grind. You will be better off extracting the CGs.

Unfortunate because the writing isn't terrible. But honestly you wont get to see any of it, because a quest will bug out, you'll be unable to progress an event, and you will be left with no choice but to start your hours of grind all over again.

Not worth it. Not even a little.

A FOUR YEAR OLD GAME, ( and still not fixed).

Unbelievable hot mess is what this story/game is, so many bugs that literally have been around for over 2 years of the 4years it continues to be "so called" developed.

The render's are good quality, though there is next to nothing in animations. As well the story is static once you have had sex with one of the female characters, there is no repeat.

Much of the story line is filled with bug's ( evelyn and the bar ), the fact that you have a time countdown to complete many of the necessary switches for quests. Yet more than a few of the quests actually require more than the allotted time. Which means some of the quests don't initiate.

The Dev's should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to continue. FOUR YEARS, and very little in the way of story has been updated. Who has FOUR YEARS to wait for a partially completed story/game to be worth playing. Oh did i mention FOUR YEARS this has been going on.

If they had not been busy starting another version of this so far junk game, they may have actually added considerable content to this version.

Not worth the time playing.

Farmer's dreams is a game I really want to like. I like the premise and I have a fondness for farming games, adding some porn into the mix seems like it should be a winning formula. BUT! The RPGMaker engine is simply not suitable for farming games similar to Stardew Valley, it doesn't have the necessary game play features needed to support this type of game fully and that causes Farmer's dreams to fall on its face.

There is a lot of work to get the farm the player gets put in charge of, in working condition and the game controls make the work a miserable experience. A major problem is that you can only equip two tools at the same time, and you will be constantly be opening the inventory, de-equip what you have been using, and equip a new tool before you can start using it. To work the proper square you have to be constantly maneuvering into the correct position, as you cannot plant in plots adjacent to the player. Another farming frustration is that your watering can only contains 25 uses. To refill you have to travel 3 maps away to the village well and back. This running must be repeated several times per day when your farm grows larger. Other games of this genre puts a watering hole next to the farm. Another problem is the lack of inventory space as half your inventory will be occupied by tools.

After some days you start learning about crafting. To obtain crafting recipes I had to talk to a guy daily and he seemed to only dispense recipes as the story needed it. Half of the things I could craft seemed to be one-use things. A tent for a quest, some fences for another. Even though I had a lot of wood from clearing the farmland, I couldn't use it to for example fix up my house because the only thing needing wood was fences and I don't see the point of putting down obstacles on my farm. The first recipe I got was to upgrade my hammer tool, but it needed copper ingots and I was not provided with a way to smelt the copper ore I could mine. By the way, who came up with the idea to put the mine far out in the forest, 5-6 maps away from the house and requiring 2-3 minutes of real time to travel there?

How about the sexy content? I don't know, as I never got any before my divine patience ran out. To get any action you have to raise stats, affection and perform quests. For what seems to be par for the course, you have to run around town, invading everyone's homes, get up in their faces and talk to them. You'll be rewarded with +1 friendship out what I assume to be 200+. This you must do, in-game day after in-game day because there is nothing else to do for the first two weeks or so. To speed things up you can give gifts, but I only ever found flowers and only two women out of the whole cast accepted them. Eventually you can flirt, but if you flirt to early with a woman before she likes you enough, you'll get punished by subtracting from your accumulated affection with her. There are quests you must do on your way to unlocking more content and eventually get laid; Feed your hospitalized father for 7 days in a row, visit the forest 10 times with the hunter, donate 1000 gold worth of food to the village. The quests seemed mostly okay but could have had their repetition numbers reduced a bit. I would recommend the addition of more early game quests, using wood to repair people's homes. This would give the player a use for the wood from clearing the farm and speed up the affection grind. After some hours, I had reached the point where I had to talk to a guy named Sam to go to a lake party. I searched around for him, couldn't find him, and decided that this game had had its fair chance.

After five hours of gaming, a porn game needs to offer more than a shot of a clothed ass and some cleavage. Farmer's dreams have good ideas and potential but is too cumbersome to play and too stingy with its content in the first hours of playing. This has been a waste of time for me, no pornz have been had and now I'm sad.

OKAY first of all fk me in the a** cause i love Jesus cause this game is a very very mix bag the game has serious potential to be one of the best games on the whole site but has some glaring issues that really really lets it down.

PROS:

1) Some of the best characters on the whole site period and that is saying something cause this game is on RPGM
2) Good crisp animations in the whole game
3) A giant list of girls to go after and the game isnt even almost half done yet so more can be added later.
4) A nice nothing too ground breaking but effective story to keep the player hooked on
5) Harvest moon and stardew valley esk gameplay

CONS:

1) the game play is like harvest moon and stardew valley so there is a godawful amount of grind like jesus christ you might leave the game at the very beginning if you dont like to grind
2) Game breaking bugs yes i know its a work in progress but game breaking bugs some of which have been here since the last 2 updates at least on this site just become inexcusable
3) The in game progression is weird to say the least and sometimes frustrating to go through


SO in the end the game has potential even now with some small tweaks and work around the story and making the gameplay some what easier and less grind can help this game improve by 5 or 6 times

I will just give it 3 stars cause posing is really good and sex scenes look really good, forgetting about the pleasure faces that sometimes are off putting.

And thats it for this game, the grind is quite important, so much that the story is not there, and if it is, its impossible to follow or apreciate it.

And theres tons of bugs, so it is really hard to keep a decent mood during the game, cause this is a game.

And the theres that thing when every cock in this planet gets hard upwards, not matter the size, which i consider ridiculous and cringe to the max.

While the CG is pretty nice the game is bad. I didn't even pay for this crapware but feel ripped off.

Played for two hours and deleted the game to hell. Tired of stupid quests and the constant slowdown of the game. The only thing that pleases in FD is an excellent CG and beautiful female characters. Therefore, I extract the CG and do not return to the game itself anymore.

I like the images, the mechanics play like more than just a generic RPG, the environment and map art is better than most similar games. Harvest Moon +18, with a nice building fantasy story. I particularly like the decision making system, while you can go down a corrupt route, it is not a creepy rape game that is far too disturbingly common for my taste. You don't have to be a morally bankrupt asshole to see action (although you can be).

Some bugs to fix, but they are addressed when they can be and the dev seems to be responsive and active. Can't complain.

Still after more than 1 year the game is still bugged as fuck.

Images get stucked, no proper questline, events dont trigger or trigger false.

I would like to patron this game, but not if its still this bad.

And the content gets to rushed. I mean in a similar game "Struggle with sins" you can get all the content without this much time pressure.

it's basically a farming game like harvest moon or stardew valley but porny and with a fantasy heavy plot. If that's what you're looking for you're in for a good time. There are a lot of different routes you can go down when it comes to romancing the many girsls in this game, and you won't be able to move forward with things if you don't try out different things and finishing quests as just increasing their love gauge will not do the trick.

Game with lots of potential but unfinished. Strangely and sadly seems not harem oriented despite the number of female characters available. Some group sex though and NTR too in case you're into that. Can glitch at times and some quest get broken if you advance past certain checkpoints. Once it's finished could be a real gem.

I really liked the game! It's been really cool how the creator has made the MC evolve during the game. The missions and relationships with the other characters are very engaging. I'm waiting for the new updates.

WT is mess.. Game is full of bugs.. and its kinda boring tbh. Scenes are not animated at all... only 1-2 animations were added.. rest is just bore.. GAME it self is kinda BIG grind and.

CGs are nice tho.. story not bad

This is probably the best rpg game Ive played so far.
It is way better than some other overrated games of the same genre.
The world is interesting there is no easy patch, unless you are cheater.
It has slow build, till you stand up on your own feet, but I think the rewards are well worth of that ewaiting and grinding.
The only "minus" for me, despite occasional bugs which could be expected in this kind of games, is a slow development time - almost a three yeras, and the game is still not finished. On the other hand it has a fair amount of content and this should certainly make your "social-distancing" isolated days flow a bit easier..
Unless if you are 11-year old fappaddict who just recently discovered a world wide web of porn-games - then better go watch pornhube or play some stupid linear kn-s - this game is not for you.

Really difficult to rate this game... It has good things and some really bad things

Good:
- Story: I didn't play it till the end (mostly due to the bad things I'll explain below), but it's pretty cool, a medieval vibe mixed with fantasy stuff
- Visuals: renders are really well done
- Characters: female/male ratio is nice (some games really exaggerate on the number of females), girls are really pretty and there's diversity in personalities, appearance and age

Bad:
- Really grindy: a real turn off for me, I hate grind in this type of game.. I don't want to have to walk around the whole village to talk and flirt to every girl just to gain some friendship points, or waste several days cutting down trees, or farming like crazy to gain some money.. It's ok to have some grind, but this is waaaaaay too much. And the fact that you have a limited amount of energy just makes it worse
- Crashes: Don't know if it's just me but everytime I play, it crashes at some random moment, so I lose several days of grind and progress because I usually don't remember to save every day
- Missions/Quests: Some of them are too complicated or not explained very well. I shouldn't have to look for a walkthrough to figure out what to do. For example, I had to read a walkthrough to find out how I could get stealthiness, or where the farm cave was..

Meh:
- Lack of animations

Final grade: 5/10
I feel like I'm being too generous because to me, the bad stuff is reaaally bad and it makes me not want to keep playing it... And the reason why I think Love Season is gonna be way better than Farmer's Dreams

The game have some flaws (mainly technical ones), but I have to at least give 4 stars because of how ambitious this project is.

I've read some previous harsh reviews below, and I actually understand azotil's points. Indeed there is a need for some improvements (like more indications because it's too easy to miss important stuff, or at least an updated walthrough). The devs did a good job but need to understand that most players won't redo several times their playthrough, because it's not a visual novel: A lot of time is dedicated to the gameplay or just meant to grind, and even if I love it it means currently more than 20 hours of playtime. So you can't rollback a lot.

The second and actually main problem for me are the bugs. It made me realize just how real games with actual gameplay are hard to create. It can be very frustrating when you know you should have a scene because you were told the exact conditions, but it still doesn't happen.

But those two problems are actually stuff that can be refined, which means for me that the core of the game isn't concerned, and is pure gold.
The story actually starts perfectly considering the concept of the game: what one of the reviewers below didn't understand is that this game is about how you "grow": not only your farm, but also your character (personality included). So it's obvious you have to start at a very low point, and gain recognition little by little while rising.
As for the slight ntr part, I actually enjoy naughty girls a lot in games, so I'm happy you can corrupt some of them (that little orgy scene with random characters was hot, I hope it won't be the only one). And be corrupted yourself. Your choice.

To summarize it all: huge potential, fun, but a lot of technical and accessibility problems. A unique porn game, could be a masterpiece in the far future once the problems are fixed.

I liked where it was heading before the first "real" day starts but i got confused and kinda frustrated after that.

The renders are really nice but that's about all i can say, i didn't get too far but i know i won't play this for much.

There is way too much walking around, and the quests are really confusing, how about telling the player the details of the quest? Like the time to get there or what you need to do to get certain items, the quest description are so confusing i had to walk back and forth a bunch before i understood what i had to do... That coupled with the absolute grindy bullshit, the CLOCK ticking down every second(Seriously who puts a clock in a RPGM game) makes for a very badly designed game that is not worth putting in time and effort for.

I mean i like a game with a challenge, that you don't have access to everything at the start but here it's taken too far.

Aren't you tired of games that make you play THE loser? Well, I'm. It isn't enough that you begin your "riveting" adventure finding chicken, you happen to be one too! Isn't that terrific? It's so terrific indeed that you can't take care of a simple slime, in a scene that is absolutely dripping with humour in much the same way I'm dripping with sarcasm right now.

That could be all but of course, it isn't enough to make you play the ONE guy in the village who apparently ISN'T part of the militia (which begs a question: how do all these wonderful people eat? You can't have more militiamen than farmers, it does not fuckin' make sense from an economic POV but I guess every narrative trope is good enough for the author to make the dude you play as unappealing as possible to the fairer sex). No, let's drive the screw deeper by making the first sex scene a show of voyeurism.

Let's not begin with something relatively vanilla and escalate. Escalation is for pussy and people who have time.

Also, let's remember that we are in a porn game... and let's invent a variety of mechanisms all more uninteresting than the others but somehow absolutely necessary that have nothing to do with sex. I'm so happy to be able to cut weed and carry heavy objects and lose stamina for it. I can already see it coming: hot sex scene? Too bad you don't have any stamina anymore, with all this weed cutting you been doing. That's the only way I can see the gameplay relate to the porn and it's a negative.

Couldn't we have a game where we play a normal young man who is a decently hard worker and is recognized as such instead of a good-for-nothing bum who gets low-key bullied by the local chad and insulted by the other half of the population?

THAT would be novel.

EDIT: On other news, the CG frankly aren't that greatly rendered compared to other games here. Also, beware the bugs. They don't stop coming.
