I am afraid that continuing the journey with Bardie and patreon will not be possible. It is unlikely that patreon will change his mind in favour of bringing Bardie back. But Bardie needs to be returned, and it seems to me that his return will be a good first step in order to attract patrons to sabscribstar. And for patreon there will be a version without Bardie (as an option).
This is a good idea. It lets you make the problem a way of making money and promoting a new platform. Stan's got a brain for business.
Mixed reaction from me. Sad that content was removed. Understand steam doing it for the over the top rules we live under currently. As for the picture of the two women above, I just face palm. Its two people holding a sign, it means nothing. The only thing that needs changing is the media focusing an unbalanced amount of attention on two people holding a sign. If it were 100,000 people holding signs it'd be an issue, if it were 1 million it'd definitely be a problem.
But the way all of our communication and media is structured is that spotlight goes on to those who shout the loudest, say the most, or make the most spectacle. From forums, to twitter, youtube, advertising, to search engines, to news channels, to newspapers, all of it.
So the way to solve this problem, is to design communications and even for example forums not to be based on the amount of something being what puts it in focus. In a forum for example it needs to take in account if its the same two people posting a large amount, vs 50 people posting 1 post, as to where it becomes visible in the topic list.
But that's the core of all of these problems that people describe, and with respect to the game author I hope the off topic was somewhat useful in hightlighting the root.
