Ren'Py Fashion Business [Ep.4 v6.00 Extra] [DecentMonkey]

So I just started playing this game and for some reason all of my saves in Episode 2 keep getting corrupted in a weird way. When I go to load them, it opens up but Monica is stuck saying "I need to undress first" and then the game goes into the "Oops something went wrong screen".

Has anyone else had this issue/anyone know how to fix it?

In episode 4 is there to increase the corruption(whoreness)
I am stuck at level 10 and I can't increase it even with the cheat in the

The second update will be what it will be.
The first update was 1.5k images and if that's not enough for an update in your opinion, check out the other games.
That said, I spent an extra 2 weeks coding and testing the transition between episodes (questionnaire for the new game, transferring assets, etc)
There are a lot of storylines in Fashion Business, and not always the set of them in the current update may match your tastes.
After a couple of updates, endings will start to appear and some of the storylines will be completed.
If the remaining storylines aren't to your liking, you may not want to support the game.
Either way, I'm determined to complete it in its entirety.
The only obstacle may be my health, most of which I spent years developing, working 12 hours a day.
However, I hope that everything will be fine.

I'll admit the post you quoted was full of hyperbole and poorly worded. I've made an edit to that post that reflects my actual opinion. I didn't have any bigger problem with the produced content than some other updates. What I am disappointed with is the length of this update compared with your recent updates of the past 12 months.

Pointing out your productivity compared too other developers isn't needed. I am well aware you beat out 98% of your peers in this regard. And when the quality of the game is added, it is surpassed by no one that I'm aware of. I'm not marking ep4v1 against other developers, I'm marking it against your previous work.

I don't donate $30 US an update to any other developer. Your usual quantity and quality per update is why I've been more than happy to support the game for so long. I think I'm entitled to call out when an update doesn't meet my expectations, especially when far less content is produced than average. I've been critical of some storylines in the past but have never before seriously considered ending my support of the game. I have donated $30 US an update since I think ep2v6 maybe ep2v7, anyway for a long time. If someone like me has been made to consider the value of continuing my support of the game from this update and you think I'm being unreasonable, that's okay. You will do what you will do and the second update will be what it will be.

All I really am looking for is conformation that ep4's updates going forward will have the equal quantity and quality that the second half of ep3 had.

Well, the one who was upset in the first place is the Decent Monkey's loyal patron who pays him 30 dollars a month (that is 360 dollars a year). It is understandable that he is kind of disappointed with the size of the update. When you pay such a big amount of money, you expect a certain amount of work done by the developer. I mean, just imagine, you go to a store and buy a cake for 30 dolllars. You got home, you open the package, but there is only half of the cake inside. Would you be upset? I think I would. Then you call the store and the baker says to you, "If you don't like how I run my business, you can always buy cakes somewhere else. Good bye". It doesn't sound so nice, does it?)

Anyway, it is incredible how bad Decent Monkey at public relations. I mean time and again the same mistakes. He could have just said something like, "Sorry, guys, I was really busy making the transition between the episodes, coding and stuff and so I didn't have enough time to produce the amount of the content I usually do. But don't worry, the next update will be awesome." That is it, and he would have smelled like flowers, and not sounded like an asshole.

OMG! It's $30 US an update not per month. I'm not that wasteful with my hard earned.

Your point at the end of your post is spot on. If he had just given some kind of disclaimer stating unusual circumstances with this update I would have shut-up and quietly waited for the next one.

find the file Achievements.rpy
open it with a text editor like notepad or notepad++
in the last line change false to True

this is much easier than installing those gallery mods you can find here
and gallery are ingame in left upper corner and looks like a diploma

this is for eps1,1 and shall be extracted in the game folder
and only for vers 1,1

Pointing out productivity is a good thing, The vast majority of the people on this forum and in this thread, don't donate a dime imo. Yet I guarantee most of the loudest complainers are the biggest freeloaders upset and crying for a hero.

Not you but I see a lot of crying and whining and I'm always curious as to who supports and who is just an internet Karen throwline a temperature tantrum.

Being a Dik, devs regularly weekly or bi weekly post updates on productivity and what stage development is in. It's not much but as a Patreon it help to know that a game your donating money to is still active and making progress.

first of all have played eps1 and eps2 before you start eps3
not activated means that there are extra images you can't see before you activate it (only for eps3 an 4 )
and have you read the FAQ

The title Fashion business EP1-Ep2-Ep3 is beautiful, but it would have been better if the creators had put the sandbox. example ( Monica works with customers on the street. starting with doing striptease and ending with the quest where she works for the old woman on the street corner.) I was wondering is there a way for all of this to be used simultaneously?? that would be BEAUTIFUL! Does anyone understand what I mean? It would take a modder capable of making such a masterpiece.

I made some changes to the soundtracks, removing that almost ironic, very unpleasant style with a much more tragic style, I can assure you that the style of the title changes a lot.

It is kind of difficult to understand what you mean since you are obviously not a native speaker, but probably you want to play the complete street prostitution (the fallen path) branch from all episodes separately, that is, without playing other events, like a separate mini-game.

Yeah, it certainly would be nice, especially considering that that branch doesn't make much sense when Monica has other means of making money, such as working as the head of the escort service.

But I doubt that someone will make such a mod, least of all Decent Monkey. It is quite a bit of work. Well, maybe if the rest of the events in this branch are super awesome...

I would also like to see that, maybe even all branches like that. Probably in the form of a visual novel without too much clicking.

I wonder whether it would be possible for Decent Monkey to sell such a minigame on Steam. Call it something like "A Lady Fallen from Grace". That way, the ban of the Fashion Business that he received in the past won't matter, since it is a different game, will it? I would buy it myself.
