To clarify, I never insinuated Monica was the boss. I mentioned Monica being the manager. Because that's what she is. She's managing/running the respective businesses in the boss's absence--the escort business for Steve, and now the Shiny Hole for the bank manager.
What I love about the escort route is that Monica's stabbed all the other escorts in the back by nominating herself for (and claiming) the managerial position. She now has five pissed-off escorts (including Mailey) to contend with. I agree with you about Monica being "vulnerable" here. As far as I recall, Steve had cautioned her that no client should leave less than satisfied. Imagine the other girls doing just that, intentionally not servicing the client properly. Monica has no option but to service the client herself, against her own desires. Either that or lose her managerial post. Yup. A lot can be done here.
With regard to strip club, I'm sure Monica won't have problems having the other girls performing all the lewd acts. As long as she doesn't have to do any herself. Thinking of it, the scenario may eventually wind up being similar to the above. The patrons may demand Monica's participation, and the bank manager, to appease his patrons, may instruct Monica to participate in lewd acts herself, perhaps the lewdest of them all.
I see your point about promotions dragging Monica deeper into trouble. Wouldn't say I'm fully opposed to it. However, I would rather Monica be the lowest rung on the ladder--the cheapest hooker on the street corner, for example.
Again, can't wait for the ping-pong match between Biff and Ms. White. I hope it is headed that way. Ms. White holds a pornographic shoot (her planned foursome) with the masked Monica. Her magazine sales go up. Biff decides to hit back with an even steamier photo shoot involving Monica. Probably the office photographer could get in on the action. I can see your point. And trust me I like to see very similar things in future updates
But I see the management aspect of Monica only as a step to a futher downgrade for her, babysteps so to say.
Regarding the strip club: I´m not so sure, that Monica will have it that easy. She may think, that she can delegate and being free from servicing the costumers, but there are many people, who are working against her:
1. Claire and Joe are a problem, because she is milking him and he steals money from the business
2. Ashley will do everything in her power to make Monica fail and so she can take over again
3. The red haired stripper (forgot the name) hates Monica and will work against her or will even drop out and become a movie star.
Many obstacles for her and it is very likely, that she will fail. To avoid that she will have to make her hands dirty herself.
But maybe DM plans different outcomes for Monica, depending on the choices of the player.
So there will be different layers of degredation, rock bottom or something in between.
I love the game too. It is the AAA of the adult games.
