By the beginning of episode 4, I stopped assigning any meaning to the characters. It can be seen that the Monkey has a problem with the continuation of the story and loses the drive. If a DJ did this at a party, so he would change it to dormitory.

its only 2 updates (1.5 to be honest)...in ep.3 drops with drive happened too. but in the end we get 3 greatest updates.

Wait a minute. You want to make one of history's leading philosophers the benchmark for smart? I don't think that it's necessary for you to be a thought leader in an entire discipline for you to qualify as smart.
Okay, without addressing your specific examples of Victoria's actions, I'd like to clarify the use of the term "4D chess."
Planning multiple steps ahead isn't 4D chess, or even 3D chess, it's just normal chess. Anyone who is consistently successful in playing normal chess against decent players is regularly planning multiple steps ahead. It's not a sign of special brilliance. Lots of people of average intelligence or slightly higher than average intelligence are able to do it successfully.
As you probably already know, 3D chess is when you superimpose multiple chess boards, so that you have to calculate for vertical movement, as well as horizontal movement. Obviously, this multiplies the difficulty factor considerably.
4D chess isn't an actual variation of chess. It's an expression we use to imply that someone is operating at such a high level that they are beyond the complexity of even 3D chess.
But planning multiple steps ahead isn't enough to qualify as 4D chess. It's not even enough to qualify as 3D chess. It's just normal chess. And that's how I rate Victoria. She's playing normal chess, and she's not bad at it, but she's not amazing, either. She's just an average player who's also the beneficiary of some amazing luck.
Keeping your enemies under constant pressure is usually a smart thing to do, but that doesn't mean that everyone who does that is doing it because it's smart, or because they're smart. Sometimes, it's just aggression. Victoria is ruthless, and ruthlessness is often paired with aggression.
As for enjoying playing the game, that's also not an indication of intelligence. Smart people, stupid people, and average people can all enjoy playing the game, and being smarter doesn't make you more likely to enjoy it, it just makes you more likely to be better at it.
I stand by my previous evaluation of her character. I think that you're overestimating her intelligence and acumen. But there's no reason why we should have to agree about it.
She's not the most interesting to me, but she's certainly interesting. I enjoy her scenes and look forward to more in the future.

Now after finishing the update I understand why there was so little excitement about it.
Decent Monkey kind of tried a new strategy with this update - instead of making one or two big events (like it was at the end of Ep.3), he decided to produce as many scenes as possible so he can show a lot of spoilers.
But unfortunately the result is that every single event is mediocre at best and cannot hold a candle to the best ones, such the yacht or doll events.
The update for sure failed to live up to the huge expectations of being "the best update ever". Not sure it is even among the top five or even top ten.
I hope the next one will be better, especially the photoshoot with Grace since it is clear now that photoshoots are the best part of the game. Well, since it is called "Fashion Business", that is kinda expected, I guess.

Very harsh comments lately, considering that literally there is nothing in comparison to this game as baseline for your feedbacks.
The game stadly improved across all the episodes, from a grind fest to a top notch quality scenes and story. Episode 4 is just at the beginning, still another year to go.
Being the last episode it means all the pieces of the puzzle must go in the right place...

There is a baseline - other updates from other episodes.
It did improve for sure. The pinnacle of that improvement was Ep.3 V.14 and Ep.3 V.15.

And Ep3 v16. For me, this was hardly the best update in the history of the game. Massive in scope and content, with some very tasty scenes. The best scenes in Philip's Basement quest are Ep3 v16, everything that came out afterward in this quest has yet to come close to the level of what we were shown in Monica's 0 and 1 Day of her ministry.
Awesome group sex scene with Steve, Monica and the two girls. Hard, uncompromising and insanely arousing.
An interesting scene of Monica's meeting with the investors, revealing some spoilers and showing the further development of the main "Office" storyline. The "Butterfly" photo shoot at the investor event was also traditionally good. Yes, I understand that many players have the current unspoken favorite - the "Angel photo shoot" on the yacht and what followed it, but if we talk in general about the level of this type of events, photo shoots are a part of the game that DM does very well.
Linda's Punishment at the VIP Escort. Gorgeously shot scene, pretty hardcore and arousing. A great event that finally showed us a strong Monica (rather than a perpetual victim of blackmail and its attendant circumstances). I'd like to see more of this kind of Monica within ep4. So for me personally there were 3 such great updates - Ep3v14, v15 & v16.

Marcus' quest in ep2 and the subsequent quest in ep3 (one of the best quests in the entire game) is an important part of the game, helping you to better understand the scope of the actions and purpose of the mysterious Farm owners behind Marcus. So, if you're interested in the game's lore, they're worth going through. However, this storyline is still optional and it's up to the player whether to pass or abstain.
