Trying to play Episode 2 but the game crashes at the same scene everytime (Phillip bathroom BJ)
Tried all the suggestions I can find in the thread such as removing read only on the game folder, installing K-Lite codec pack, not using a save from EP 1 and no mods installed. Anyone have any ideas?

Eh, kind of. It got me through that scene but now its crashing pretty regularly with out of memory errors.. I have 32GB of RAM

No it's the game. I don't get any of these issues on any other renpy games or any other software for that matter. I guess it maybe an incompatability problem with Win 11 24H2. I suggest next time you want to post completely useless and unhelpful sentences just keep it to yourself rather than wasting peoples time. as you self said you run win 11 and your problem are maybe that. i dunno
i know that the episode 2 can be hard for some machines
i dunno why
i have 3 different laptops and it runs smoothly on 2 of them my oldest (10 year old) with only 4gb ram and intel gpu in cpu
can run it but are long time to load game
second laptop runs without problem 16gb ram and intel iris gpu
i haven't testet my newest laptop with with 8gb ram and nvidia 4050 win 11 pro
has nothing to do with the machines memory = ram
try google renpy out of memory errors

I'm gonna call out people posting useless unhelpful garbage. I'm guessing it's a memory leak within the game/older renpy versions that is the issue. What causes it on certain OS/hardware configurations I don't know. I myself have played episode 2 on a different PC without issue a few years back but that would have been on Windows 10.
*Edit Game runs fine on Linux on the same PC, will just play it that way.
