I decided to recall some old scenes with Marcus from Ep2 v16 and came across an interesting dialogue choice that I'd already forgotten about. If DecentMonkey hasn't forgotten about it himself, I'll hope that one day he'll remember that promise. And, for example, this option would fit in perfectly here. It's time to get rid of the placeholders in the dialogues. (I want to believe)

The prison scenes are one of my personal favorites, good times. Farm dialogue also appeared at Marcus office in Ep.1, never forget.

I'm in the episode 2 right now. I rented the appartment in the slums, but Jack never came to collect the rent on the next saturday.
Is it a bug? (I rented the apartment the saturday before). Is it because it's the first week?

no not a bug you need to sleep from Friday to Saturday in the apartment
but if you have installed scrappy mod then it cause bugs

If just the damn citymap didn't disappear, game sends me from the hotel to Lindas house but the map is gone. Is there any way to get it back ?

Did you use a mod? If yes, they can cause these problems. I've never heard before that the map disapeared. oO

Nope, no mods. If you search for missing map in the thread you get a recommendation to save on the city map so that's what i've been doing. Now it went missing leaving the hotel and that was after an hour or so without saving, my bad.

Hey, seems like I am not able to play episode 2. I finished episode 1 and dl episode 2 and 3. When I start the file actually on the dl page, the game asks me questions about how Monica behaved in episode 1, and a lot of questions on episode 2, I didn't play. Any clue?

you know the games are standalone
so you need to
Save the game before you sleep. in eps1 DAY_17 You can use your safe file for Episode 2

You must be registered to see the links

No, you don't need to copy anything anywhere. If you play the 1080p version of ep1 and then start playing the 1080p version of Ep2 v16, your save file from ep1 should automatically appear in the "Load" menu in ep2. If the save file does not automatically appear, you can manually place it here:
C:\Users\%yourusername%\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\fashionbusiness1\ (but I don't think this will be necessary).

shouldn't be necessary but
when you hit load in main you should see
migrate from 720 or 1080
try that first

When I get to the main menu of episode 2, there is an "UPDATE GAME" option, and it needs a code for access. What is the code? Is it appearing because I haven't completed episode 1 yet?

then it's up to date

The code is for the patrons. They get the code and the game downloads the newest update itself, so you don't need to download the 11 GB (atm) completely with every update.

I'm playing episode 3 and I'm having quite a few problems and maybe it's just a bug. A few events that (I guess) should start automatically are not triggered. Namely: Victoria's sudden confession; Betty's rich maid and Love Triangle. Also, it seems the timeline is kinda messed up. When I go to the office during week days there are no employees and Monica goes with the comment she usually makes during the weekend. On Tuesday and Thursday Betty is not waiting in the hall where the stained carpet is, I have to go to the master bedroom and, while she's not visible, if I click in the vicinity of the bed I'm able to talk to her (but no Gym). Has anyone else had the same problems? If yes, did someone manage to find a solution? Thanks
