I don't understand, the game ended once Monica pointed the gun at Fred! There were other things I hadn't finished yet in the game. So should I start the revenge quest after finishing everything or is it another story that has nothing to do with the main story?

Well, you need to save the game in at least two different slots to follow both paths, before taking the gun. The revenge path ends the game until the last update. It seems that the main story and the revenge path will have different end. In the v 0.11 the revenge path ends when Monica points the gun to Steve.
I have monthly data limits, so I am at the mercy of others adding compressed versions. I would be very grateful if somebody could add a compressed PC version with the 2nd hot fix.
