Judging by the title Payback, we could be in for something interesting. FB is an Adult game after all, so if this isn't the end of the whole VIP Escort storyline, which I highly doubt (given earlier hints that Monica will serve clients in the future and fulfill all their requests, from vanilla to BDSM), then I bet it will be a verbal and sexual humiliation scene for all VIP escort girls and Monica will exact her little revenge, which in turn will provoke backlash from the other girls (in the future updates).

I just don't remember the entire dialogue verbatim (and all fetishes), so I decided to reduce it to this range. But BDSM was definitely there. It was one of the girls who was advertising Monica to the client that she does absolutely everything, and the client said that he would think about some request (fetish) and about calling Monica to his house (in the future). As for the uninterestingness of the VIP escort - it depends on how the game develops. If it's the way I suggested earlier, then yes, a VIP escort is unnecessary. But if the DM has other plans and isn't going to complete some already outdated storylines (like Julia, House , VIP Escorts), then the VIP escort will remain, whether we want it or not.

You know as well as I do that Phillip's quest is part of the Office storyline and will not be in a "parallel universe" as it is with the Revenge Path storyline. Yes, we still don't have an answer from the developer as to how exactly he plans to resolve this time conflict between the investor meeting and Monica's week-long slavery, but that doesn't mean that the DM doesn't have that solution.
