I agree. Especially now that we get dev updates weeks before the spoilers. The spoilers used to be just that, our first spoiler or clue as to what the upcoming update will contain. The Dev updates now do this.

Yeah, unfortunatly, there was no buildup in terms of Monica actually falling in the falling path. Maybe there was some slight change in her behavior, but no more than that.
I don't know, maybe that gradual change is going to happen in this update, like several events with Monica over some extended period, for example, that old hooker forces her to take drugs, she becomes addicted and so on, but for now it seems rushed.
