In theory, would a hotfix code be able to jump the game from v12 hotfix2 to v13 hotfix1?

Nope. the update is like over 3K files. the hotfix is only 400 plus files. Apply the update then the hotfix.

No, there a no replies wit saves from v12. Read it for yourself, I'm not the only person who is asking for a save. DecentMonkey has saves on his homepage, but it's not clear which one is the end of v12 or v11.
But don't strain yourself, maybe somebody else is more willing to share his save!
