apart from ep1, it looks like classical sb to me. (not even semi-sb like badik,dod)
game elements are for gaming. (what is wanted) whereas text makes the game seem longer.
vns usually throw walls of text on you; here the amount is tolerable but still u have enough of repeatables you need to skip.
generally i dont need a text if i can get the idea of what is going on from visuals & quest tasks (ingame hints, external walkthroughs; some occasional reading) hence story/narrative emerges out of questchains not otherwise, that is why texts in sbxs is a waste of time (for devs at least). comic amount of text woud be ideal for any sb.
