And immediately the answer is that the DM will not add dialects. He is interested in languages. Full-fledged languages that people speak and read

The Patreon model is hardly perfect, and it has certainly created developers who just create a small amount of content and then drag out "development" with promises of all the great stuff that's going to come out if they can just meet those funding goals, but the good hugely outweighs the bad. It is even more lopsided in favor of people who refuse to support the artists and devs no matter what. You are, if I understand your series of diatribes correctly, getting the game for free. And still you complain. And offer no actual solutions, just more complaining.

There are years of Japanese h-games before Akabur really started up the western thing and they executed and completed in a more healthy fashion.

You attribute the increase in activity solely to Patreon but the scope of the system that gave rise to the modern day activity in the western h-game space is wider in breadth than that with more factors contributing to it. Awareness, visibility, trust in the software ecosystem (no more virus in every other download), increase in computer use among genpop, increase in computer hardware capabilities, ease of modern-day high-level software development, lower difficulty-bar to generate good-quality art assets, among other things, all have input.

h-stuff used to exist on newgrounds and it got developed and completed. Pornholio is super f old and managed self-contained episodic releases. I recall something called ucogi.

What matters most is not that games are being delayed or that their development is gouging people. The quality suffers because at the forefront of a game's design along with anything else is exploiting the current string-along system.

but also, I don't want to be coming down too hard on FB because I don't mind FB too much
