There are no special differences in the versions. In version 1080, the picture quality is better (controversial), several scenes have been added. But they do not affect the game.
1) the only reason i know of this game and supported DM for months is because of pirated versions on this site.
2) a single person hasnt the ressources for "complex safety protocolls" whatever you mean with that.
3) threats to people about pirating on a pirate site is kind of hilarious, so thank you.
I love this game and respect the hard working dev (all hard working devs who regularly updates) and want them to earn money. So I can understand their angle and respect that too. IMO intrusive or/and online DRMs will only hurt paying patrons and will drop your patron numbers. DarkSilver tried this, KsT also trying this and the results are not what they expected I believe. But decision is yours and if you really gonna add DRM in the future first ask your patrons, then decide.
I'm more than happy with 720p version of this great game, I can't be a loyal patreon supporter, and can't even pay for 1080p version, but can do one time 720p pledges time to time for showing support and as a thanks. Hope both sides understand and respect each other and nothing overshadows this experience.

When setting up Reshade choose OpenGL, use the exe file in "****\lib\windows-i686\" folder, not the one in the main folder.

Why people want the 1080p version so bad? Like people said in this thread the only differences is the resolution is better which will slow down more their PC or laptop for people who have already a have bad experience with the 720p version
more angles during h-scenes, oh wow 2 or 3 angles difference from the 720p won't change anything
and extra contents that was in the 1080p will be add later after a update like Ragnaroekr said.
We already have to wait between 41 to 50+ days for each release (we already have a delay for this update) and i don't want to wait 1 update for 2 months and a half weeks or 3 months (which is 1 update per season).

For myself I'm totaly fine with the general approach by DM with the two versions of his game. I do enjoy this awesome game as much in the 720p version as the 1080p version and always anticipate the new updates to see where the story monica leads the next.

Implementing some kind of protection to your game, will not only cost ressources (time & money), but could lead to losing more customers in the long run, than gaining anything from these actions. Why impose something like this on your loyal and paying fans, only as a reaction for some others who would most likely never spend any money on your game?
Everyone reading and/or posting in this thread is a potential customer and even if one isn't joining your patreon he/she does help to spread the word about you game, which is free promotion. There are not many other ways to promote a game out of the genre (AVN) to a broad audience than a forum like this. Don't see it as a threat to you work, but a promotional tool. I'm pretty sure you gained more customers than losing for your game being available here.
Others did wrote it in this thread before and it is the same for me, I wouldn't know about this great game, if I didn't discovered it here. I've talked about this topic with other devs before and most of them told me, the most patreons they got are coming from here.
Use your time and money to make your best possible game representing your vision and make people want to spend their money on it, if they are able to. Some kind of security measures won't benefit the reception of your game at all.

The first and foremost thing to do is to stop crying yourself, then you will see that there is a valid reasoning behind these people and that they're not just "crying spoiled kids".
As for me, I couldn't care less about 1080p resolution but I will never tolerate any kind of cutting content out. Especially when it's done intentionally.
P.S. untill Ragnaroekr said about adding that content to 720p version I never heard about that, so I'm at ease now.

Regardless of which version is shared or not, if you like the the game and are able, you should support it.
If money are a problem, there are other ways of supporting it, spread the word, report bugs, etc...
It's nice to see there's people who do share the "full" package, cause if it really isn't that much difference between the two, why are there two versions in the first place? This is a pirate site first of all, if you guys keep jumping at the necks of those who share stuff, you might end up one day with no one to share anything.
The more publicity the game gets the more people it reaches, the more people it reaches the more are the chances some of those people are true supporters (those people who buy stuff they like regardless of piracy) and those are the people you want to reach.

There are several conditions in the quest.
1. Melanie must completely submit to Victoria when she invites her for the first time.
2. Melanie must completely submit to Victoria when she invites her a second time. And agree to meet with Victoria and Monica in the apartments of Melanie.
3. Melanie should invite Monica to a meeting. And Monica, respectively, agree to her.
4. Monica must fully comply with Victoria's whims during the meeting. (This is the question voiced in your question)
