...it worked for the full download of the additional 2+GB...but crashed after the restart.
On the other hand I downloaded also the 720p extra version but the startscreen of the game don´t show the "extra" (activated) section...or do we have to wait for the activation file (407) ?

Activation (imo) makes sense only for the 1080p version of the game, as it decrypts extra images and makes extra scenes available. In 720p version there are no extra scenes (at least in PC version).

Game devolved from a sandbox to a VN. If you like VN's then this is now for you.
What was trash about it?
I might skip this update if it's not worth playing and double up the next time it's updated.
Updates have gotten stale after awhile and I usually double up now

It was far from a trash update, on each and ever update of every VN/Game you will get a whiny shit stain that didn't get what he wanted out of the update. Claire is finally back which is what I have wanted forever and Victoria goes off on some people that finally needed some comeuppance. If you have been following the game this long it was generally a good update.

I'm guessing this is a mistake on the part of those who edited the OP. 720p extra version exists for android only. For PC, 720p version come without extra scenes.

Only who pirated this version can say why he called it extra.
Is the 1080 code working for anyone, when I try to update it reaches partway and just remains stuck

It is just a VN now, only the earlier stuff had real sandbox elements

Everyone is different and their tastes are different. So for now it's your subjective opinion against the subjective opinion of the person who didn't like the update. I can judge about this update only from the words of Ostego(who reviewed it favourably) with whom we have been communicating for a long time..However, I myself have not played V7 yet (for reasons described on the previous pages). So for now I don't have my own opinion about this update and this time I won't do a traditional big review with a breakdown of each scene. Let someone else do it, if they have the desire to do so. Well, I'm waiting for V8.
Basically, everything is happening as described in the game concept by the DM himself (back in 2019)

I think "Extra" was pointed out in the title, because besides the link to the 720p version of the game there is an upgrade code for the 1080p version in the thread header, but the developer saw that the upgrade code was in the public domain and quickly changed it.

I tried, but the code is 720p version. If you use it at 1080p, you will change all the images to 720p.
