1) yes. For sadness its obviously will be removing of "grey" variations like "move to Farm". Bur for plus it will be implementing video player from ep.4 with choosing angle.
I think it would require a huge amount of resources and a lot of time. Episode 2 has a lot amount of vide scenes, and imagine having to have all of them available from different angles. And as I understand it, a flying 3D camera would still be needed (as it was in part of Ep3 and 4), which means that all the scenes would have to be redone all over again.(Even if the DM has all those scenes in, shall we say, "raw" form).
So episode 3 and 4 are "modernised" and the first two will be revised/reworked? That's a lot of work !
As DM said - its full time job.
