I can't seem to find an explanation in the main post, of the difference between "Episode 3 - v12" and "Episode 3". I assume they are both there, and kept distinctly separate, for a reason, but I am drawing a blank when trying to figure out why. Anyone able to explain it to me, like I'm a complete moron? What are the differences, and which version is intended for which audience?

In my opinion the "photo shoot"/porn ending with the extended scenes is some of the hottest most depraved stuff I've seen in an AVN ever. Whether or not it's a good ending, I'll leave up to you

That's not relative, it's just bad. So far, there have only been bad endings, some worse than others but bad nonetheless. The only ending I could say is relatively good is because Victoria gets what she deserves.
Julia's ending could also have been a good one, if instead of being trapped right next to Farm 218, Monica got her things back in exchange for marrying Julia and, as a clause, would lose everything if she separated from her. She gets her life back, but has to put up with Julia and keep her happy so as not to lose everything again. That would be a relatively good ending, finding a balance between what is lost and what is gained.
So I'll wait patiently for the end of “Shine Hole,” which promises to be a good ending. I haven't seen the end of the porn studio, but it will surely be a bad ending, so I won't even bother watching it.

Yes, but file size has nothing to do with it. E5v4 will be the final episode of the game, simply because that's what the dev decided. As for non-core/main content, some of these events may appear as separate DLCs some time after the game's completion. Also, there is a possibility that these DLCs may include some events that would happen to Monica after one side ending or another.

I'm also looking forward to it..besides,"Shiny Hole" is probably my favorite side storyline, except "The Basement". As for the ending with the porn studio, I'll say this...I've never been a fan of this arc (and in my canon save there is no place for this path), but this final is incredibly depraved, and you're unlikely to see anything like it in other AVNs..Here is my Ep5v2 review I touched on this topic in more detail, avoiding key spoilers, but ofc, it can't replace your personal experience of playing it.
But overall, this ending is definitely worth seeing in its entirety with all the extra scenes, even if this path isn't your cup of tea. It is unique in its own way and is the gem of this update.
But let's get back to the topic of the lack of good endings in the game...Yeah, there are not yet obvious prerequisites for such good outcomes, but it is also true that DM is one of those devs who know how to surprise...So, I wouldn’t prematurely assume the worst. We still have the main storyline “Office/Photoshoot,” we still have the undisclosed conspiracy against Monica, and much more that has been hidden behind a veil of darkness all these years and has been the subject of our numerous guesses and assumptions.So, we'll see.

Agreed, it's such a "good" ending though. Absolutely loved it. I wish there were more AVNs out there with scenes as well done in the same vein.Absolutely.
