PickerLewd It will be a dark fantasy game, which promises to be very intriguing. Ofc, there will be magic in this world, but something tells me that it will be different Middle Ages than in LR.. I won't reveal all the details (I don't know that much), but I hope the game will be very interesting and exciting.Stan5851, when I read that the next game is going to be set in a medieval fantasy world, I was instantly reminded of Luna Reloaded
Do you think it could be similar? Obviously, I don't think the DM will include as many different options and decisions as in Luna.
They'll probably make it more of a sandbox game, but I still think it could work.
However, unfortunately, I highly doubt that next game will be similar to Luna Reloaded in terms of choices for FMC. Although, of course, I would like the heroine of the new game to be truly strong, like Luna. Monica's problem is not that she is weak (she is actually very strong internally), but that she can't change a damn thing...
Whether this approach will change in the new game or not, we'll see. But I would like to see such a qualitative leap happen. And yes, I have almost no doubt that it will not have a sandbox (or even an environment that mimics a sandbox, as in FB).
Well, finally... Now I can breathe a sigh of relief and say that you guys know even more about this new game than Ostego and I learned from DM back in the day.

Dragon Age Origins was listed as Dark Fantasy Game and it had some sick stuff in it. Well, considering everything that has been written, perhaps we will have our own LunaBuckfett, who kicks the asses of scoundrels or solves problems in a more "intimate" way. Although personally, I wouldn't "reinvent the wheel" and would simply create a dominant and submissive route (with variations)... As they say, a timeless classic.

It's been 15 years since I finished it (it was wonderful) but I don't remember the sick things you mentioned very well
.I remember there was slavery and discrimination against elves, and the demons at the magic school were constantly trying to tempt you. There was also a taboo against blood magic.

Classic series DragonAge I played with great pleasure, so with this genre I have no problems. Just then I did not want to disclose details ahead of time, but since DM himself wrote about it, then yes, in the new game will be emphasized not on magic, but on intrigue, bribery, underhanded games and the like.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content.

Ataegina turned out to be a good game, but I think DM came up with something cooler and deeper...But at the same time, maybe it will be a bit more down-to-earth...in the sense that the main thing will not be magic, not gods or demons, but people and their actions...And magic will be more like an auxiliary and secondary element.
Not really sure what you mean by that. I've never criticized Dragon Age at all. It's one of my favorite game series.It's been 15 years since I finished it (it was wonderful) but I don't remember the sick things you mentioned very well

I could not give a rats toss bag about the new game. I think it is a little off topic for this FB thread. What interest me as of now is when the next FB update is due. That Chrismas message leaves me to believe we are in for a long wait.
As usual in that message not one reference to the big "DLC" that the L7 team has been working on since ep5 v2 was released. So add that to the new game and whatever else is going to delay this next FB update.

Dark fantasy as an genre is fine. Like others here I have played Dragon Age Origins and it's sequels multiple times. Well except the newest one. I'm just not interested in hearing about some new game before this one is done. And I really don't want to hear about the new games preparation interfering with this ones development.
Put your time and effort into this game and finish it DM, before the new one steals all your creativity and passion.
