Speculation time.

My guess is her husband is behind it all. He gave her everything and found her to be ungrateful and tough to deal with. He staged his disappearance and put the wheels in motion. This would be revenge and a way to break her down from that high pedestal she has built for herself.

Not only is she being broken down one very big step at a time, but she's somewhat coming to terms with the situation. She seems to like some things she is doing and experiencing things she never has before. After all is said and done, she'll not only be a new person, but be a bit humbled and perhaps grateful.

At some point I think the husband will pop up out of nowhere. He'll either reveal his revenge and/or take her back conditionally.

All we have is a story her husband got into some trouble, but there's really no solid proof. We also have the story of the sour relationship Monica provided in the relationship. Monica has been this way with just about everyone. It's coming back hard on her.

I do like the humiliating situations that are being forced on her. If given a choice, I always have her to through with that dirty stuff. But, part of me realizes this isn't the way to overcome and win back her empire. We get so many internal dialogues of her wanting revenge and getting back at people that humiliate her. And, it's at these parts that I wonder if I shouldn't just make another path where she does her best to keep free of it all. Just so she can return to being a bitch.

I mean, I think she learns quite the lesson even if she does fight against depravity. That's just how the story is engineered to move forward; there are points where she just doesn't have an option but to go through with something if the player wants to see what's next.

It's not a bad way to do it. The only thing is, I've mostly ignored her "noble path" simple because I want to see the porn. It's just a grindy game, it's hard for me to even want to run through it multiple times just to see how things turn out. But, maybe we'll get to a point where all this stuff sends Monica into stuff she has no way out of. Like, a clear station that suggests there's no hope other than to fuck and suck.

If we go get there, I probably will go back and try to correct it, since I think Monica deserves to get back on top, after having been forced to go so low. I think that'll require a new playthrough. I think... I can save that for a day where I have more patience for the mechanics. For now, I'm just going through to see what kind of story this is. And for the porn.

Yeah that's kinda the issue with pretty much every VN that offers choices, most of the time the real question is: do you want to see a sex scene ? yes/no. It's a sex game, ofc we want to see that and no mater the choice lol.
One game that manage to offers some real choices is Good Girl Gone bad, since making choices actually leads you do differents sex scenes and that's the good way of making a sex game with choices.

Now I don't think that DecentMonkey can reproduce that in Fashion Business because he seems to spend a lot of time on others parts of the game: his game is just more complex than GGGB: way more locations, more characters. etc.

Unfortunately we have to keep in mind that theses games are made by 1 person alone, so having a quality game in every department than offers real choices is complicated to make I guess, or it would make the game progress at a very slow rate.

There as been ideas of there being a conspiracy against her, and her attempting to find out who was behind it all. Marcus seems to be just a middle-man, someone that's been paid off to put fear into monica. And the whole thing put onto her to put her through hell.

Later, it'll probably be revealed that her hubby comes back no questions asked. All of it a ruse. All of it just to put some humility back into the wife. That wouldn't be a bad story at all. So, I really hope that's the kind of story this is envisioned to be. I wouldn't mine her sinking as low as she can go, and then being thrown a life preserver, taken back by a husband that only wanted her to learn a lesson or two.

Maybe he's the kind of guy that didn't realize the extent she'd have to go. Or what the people around her did in the name of payback. It's hard to say what this changed Monica will do if she's returned to wealth and power. Possibly, she really will have learned some life lessons along the way and become the better woman for it.

Oh, and I really like how she's only just now discovering orgasms from sex. I remember right from the first game, she never really liked sex at all. She didn't understand what the big deal was it, since she never climaxed before. Now she has, and her views on it are changing. I like how DecentMonkey has integrated that kind of idea.

Well, it could also be <<roll the dice for random character>> ... it could also be Melanie who is behind all this.

Maybe she wants take over the empire of Monica and take revenge for something. Then she could have faked her visit at the farm.
And since she can seduce any man, she would have the means to make Marcus her henchman, ...


I don't say that I think Melanie is the mastermind behind all this. But almost any character we've seen so far could be the one who want some revenge on Monica.

Who can make a plausible plot for being Julia the spider in the web pulling all the strings ...

Julia was threated bad from Monica for a long time.
She also blames Monica for not protection her from Fred and other "misadventures".
So she planned something with her brother Marcus. He also helps her to blackmail Biff, so Julia can be close to Monica again after her downfall.
And since Julia is part of a huge gypsy familie, her sisters assist her with her revenge, too (among other scenes, they were the female maniacs in the clothes shop that humiliate Monica when she has to sell the dress).
In the end, Julia will take over Monica's empire and make her pose as a nasty BDSM model on her magazine cover with some animals ....
The rest of the day monica serves in a degrading maid-horse uniform, getting punished by Julia and her family all the time.

And they lived happily ever after ... ~fin~

Yeah, I like this dynamic a lot too. If one of the intended paths is indeed her reconciliation with her husband as a more docile, subservient or submissive wife, associating her first orgasmic experiences with intensely degrading situations would certainly make that kind of ending more plausible and beleivable.
Also I appreciate Decentmonkeys nod to the cliché that bitchiness in women is caused by sexual frustration.

But almost any character we've seen so far could be the one who want some revenge on Monica.

That's true, and is a strong point of this game's writing; even the driver could be more than what he appears to be with his eternal calmness and mention of "psychological training" like some movie version of a special forces operative.

Personally, I suspect that the secretary might be involved - she is the one person Monica genuinely likes, respects and even admires, and it is reasonable to assume that she would trust her with a lot of information about her private and business transactions, account details etc. Plus, she behaves very bizzarely, and the game hasnt focused on her much. Maybe she wanted to teach Monica a lesson about moral decency and traditional virtues?

The game is set up for so many more creatively humiliating scenes in the future - Julia, her office colleagues, the aspiring model turned prostitute, the bank employee she wanted to get fired, the waitress, etc. etc. - you could come up with dozens of degradingly erotic scenarios there.
I just hope the patrons have the same interests we do - as much as the creator is ultimately responsible for the direction of the game, if most of his patrons are screaming at him about wanting more sex with bums/randoms, he will have to divert his resources towards their wishes, at least in part.

Ranch 218 could be very, very!! hardcore! It's the absolute opposite of what happened before.

I the main episodes she will be "hired by the very people she's treated shoddily" as you say.
But the Ranch 218 - this is absolute horror.

If you played the game, then, most likely, you remember what Marcus said about things awaiting for her there.
It's all true.

But for now, my main purpose is to fix and rework gameplay of the current version of the game.
I tried to make a good renders, a good story. It seems to me that this is one of the best stories of all games here.
Not the best translation, perhaps, spoils the impression, but i will correct it with time.
Also i plan to add more H-scenes in the Episode 1.
After the release of the game, i was going to immediately develop episode 2.
I used to plan to release first part of it in May.
But how can I deal with this if almost all the marks of my game are "shit" and "crap"?
Most players just ripped my renders and did not learn anything about the story itself. It's all because gameplay. The story itself is not so long as there are long walkings, car drivings and etc.
I can not leave it at that.
I do not want to let a few ridiculous slowly crawling sprites spoil everyone the impression of the story.

This is the best damn Game out right now. Haters can eat D**K
