Try this one (provided by Ragna to me, I just added a bit of the missing stuff from episode 11 and before - hopefully withouth missing something). Didn't play the update myself, yet.
I guess your first way will lead you to the office...

Edit: seems like Julia's path is closed here or she will somehow need more progress ... didn't saw this before.

So true. this game is really messed up. I stopped playing it as soon as I started the episode 2. At the beginning of episode one was good.
