Don't listen to some negative voices. All in all the game is great and one of the bests outside here. I also don't like all parts of the game - like the Julia-part for example - but I think that this is normal. Not all kinds of tastes can be served. So keep up your great work and develope the game in your own style - which is a great one in my opinion!

720p version has the wrong folder name "TestProj". It was a mistake in EP1v0.1
And I can't rename it because all previous save files will be lost.
You can migrate to 1080p from 720p by pressing "migrate from 720p" in the load menu.

I also really like the game Monkey! You cant please everyone. This is my favorite game and currently the only project im supporting on Patreon. While I dont like every path, I feel the game has something for everyone, just a matter of waiting till a path you like gets updated.

The save file I got seems to have Julia's path corrupted or abandoned.
There are no options when I speak to Julia in the office. Relationship to her is level 3. Still, John and Greta have an option to tell me about the progress of their quest (to find out the color if Julia's panties).
No idea if the quest was abandoned, something got corrupted or something need to be done ingame ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just negativity bias. People dissatisfied with something are statistically more likely to voice their opinions than people satisfied with a product. The only metric that should be relevant to you is the number of patreons. Since those have been steadily increasing, it's obvious that steadily more people are liking your game to the point of supporting it financially.

I believe you just stated the most important and underrated thing many devs seem to often forget after they develop for a while.

The only way you can keep going and enjoying what you are working on, is making stuff you like and what if others don't like it? As you said, there are plenty of other games to choose from and for specific fetishes.

And avoid doing like many other devs, who began to literally let their patreons take control of the whole story and development of the game, to the point that you can feel like the author is not putting his soul into the game anymore.

I don’t think it’s honest that everyone is trying to find some bad little things in the game and does not notice a lot of positive things that required a lot of effort to create.

Whenever you put something out for everyone to see, its just to be expected for others to voice out their opinions, as long as they are constructive and civil about it, there is no harm in that, and even the most blunt feedback could have something good hidden between those rash words, if you keep cool about it.

All in all, you should keep going as you are, developing the game you like and trying to keep cool when reading criticism, its supposed to give you hints and helpful tips when done right, try not to focus on the negativity of it, even if those people seem to ignore all the good parts of your game.


P.S. The Melanie content was probably the best thing I've experienced in the whole game, and it came with EP.2

Dude just chill this game is one of the best here did you expect that there won't be critisism at all? You are getting more and more popular with every update so obviously it bandwagons some lippy comments. BTW could someone drop compressed version?

Agree. Many people missing something to do and repeating actions again and again. And then they saying about grinding, etc.
But there is almost no grinding. If you repeating something a lot of times, look at the guide.

Yeah, I wanted to quote this due to it's importance. Nothing is a more surefire way of destroying a game than when creators start including content to please players even though they personally do not find it interesting or attractive. I'm not saying dont take suggestions. I'm saying filter all suggestions you receive through the lens of what you, as the creator, find thematically and erotically fitting.
Because that's what made your game successful in the first place, and attracted all the people that are now interested in it.

dont be like that. guess there are a lot of "silent people" out there who really appreciate your work.
I can only speak for myself but I LOVE what you do. I can enjoy this game. I dont even need a walkthrough coz I read the dialogues carefully (the german translation is, as always, pretty good btw). But I dont wanna sound like fanboy by telling this again and again.
hope you carry on for a loooong looong time. I need this ^^

I really like the concept of the game, I just don't like it when there are multiple occasions that you have to resort to a walk-through to progress the story...breaks the immersion of the story, and turns into an alt+tab back and forth between story and walk-through.
