I like a lot about the game, I was a patreon for it for over a year as well, but it isn't a good game story and dialogue wise. While it is funny at times, most characters are really stupid, and the plot is so over the top is not believable at all. It also has a lot of unlikable characters and most male characters look really bad, not just in terms of looks but render wise and quality wise. Look at immoral stories, the male characters are also not good looking but they have great quality.
I think that Fashion Business, while a very nice game, appeals to a certain demographic with certain fetishes and won't go outside of that for more support.
With what he has learned, if he would be able to do a good game (I haven't tried Milfs of Sunnyville) plot wise as well, because he has the rest of the skills down, he could have a bigger success. Maybe he need to hire a good writer or something and focus more on the other aspects of the game/games.

I disagree The vast majority of all male characters have decent body detail within the limits of what modern DAZ3D offers. I would rate the quality of the male characters at 4.5 out of 5. Regarding the appearance of the male characters that you don't like, I'm pretty sure that was the developer's main intention. The world around Monica is almost 99% made up of nothing but assholes and many of those men look accordingly.

I think that Fashion Business doesn't need male characters looking like Antonio Banderas at his best. And their looks now are in harmony with their negative personality traits. All that said, Decent Monkey has managed to create some pretty charismatic male characters. They're Marcus, Fred, Dick, Philip, Biff and even "slug" Steve - all very memorable scumbags. And I think that makes sense in a game that focuses on humiliation and blackmail. And 18 year old guy with a slight unshaven face or some slinky brat from Being a DIK can never properly play the role of Marcus or Philip. Most of the male characters in our game are middle-aged or even older. And these "actors" have so far done fine with the roles given to them by the "director" (Decent Monkey).

I agree to alot of this and many times the plot feels shallow and unbelievable, like Monica agreeing to implausably desperate sex without being short on money or getting outright blackmailed. Some of that is due to poorly written plot and missmatch in mini-plot composition. But I also think a big reason for the weird character behaviour is dev trying to stay on Patreon ToS good side, which let's just say isn't very accepting of forced non-consensual content.

Overall it's still a great VN, what it lacks in deep plot dev makes up by releasing huge amount content on a regular basis, few other VN's get even close to matching that.

I totally agree that the quality of the VN is still really high. Unfortunately, at a certain point it kind of feels repetitive. Now that she might actually get control of her company or something, it might actually move forward.
Also, because the photoshoots take care of Victoria's money needs, the plot of paying the money back isn't implemented, her whoring is totally not needed, just like you said, we do it just to see content.

I think maybe you haven't tried the game I mentioned https://f95zone.to/threads/immoral-stories-rebecca-v1-4-2-ep-04-ggg33.97708/ . Give it a try and let me know how the male characters compare after. They are also old ugly men, by the way as the story also revolves around corruption and blackmail, just in a more extreme sense.

No, I haven't played it. But I've looked at the screenshots now and I'm not impressed. So it's unlikely I'll want to play it. By the way, there's not a single clear image of a male character in the screenshots where you can appreciate the detail. But that's not the point. You're missing the main point - FB started making back in 2018, a lot has changed in that time and we can see. how much the detailing of the same Monica has increased compared to Chapter 1. But the point is that all the main women in FB look great and the men..,well about them I've covered everything in the previous post.

That game you mentioned, judging from the first comment in the thread, is dated late 2022. That is, it's a brand new game and of course I admit that it may have newer generation 3D male models that look a bit better than the conventional male 3D models that DAZ offered 2+ years ago. But I don't see the point in the prohibitive detailing of male characters.

Let's be honest, we come to this game to admire women, not ugly men. And which one of these men has a 4.5 level of detail and which one has a 5 , I, as a player, don't care at all. I'm in this game primarily for Monica and Melanie's sake, not to admire well-detailed men's butts. ;)

I understand your point of view. For me, most of the male characters in FB are between a 2.5 and a 3, so it's a difference from there to a 4.5 or a 5 in other games. It's not just the number of polygons. The hair, the textures, their expression are very comic book villainy and not realistic. It's just how they look to me and they make the game a parody more than anything else whenever they appear. I am thinking about Fred and Steve especially but I think there are others that fit the criteria. Also, some of the female characters have the same problem with the hair and expression, looking at most of the Escorts and Julia here.
Again, this is not to say that the game isn't great, at some point it was my favorite, being the only game from here I supported on Patreon. It's actually how I found this forum, trying to find the next release for this. I'm just saying what are some of the minus points for me for this game and why I think some other people might not like it.

That is actually from a dream of hers or something, not in the actual storyline. That game is by far the most hardcore game I've played from this site, almost on the too much side for me.

Yeap, started it. At shop now. Too bad theres no sound.
And yes i can say that FB models, even of Monica and Melanie a bit outdated. But theres no way to remake them until ep.4.

I'm not at all convinced that Monica's current look needs to be redone in episode 4. Her and Melanie's facial and body detail is perfectly fine. Yeah, maybe Monica's breast nipples could have been in a slightly higher resolution, but that's not critical. And all the other parts of her body, in my opinion, don't need intervention. The worst thing that could happen is if Monica, as a result of unnecessary improvements, ceases to look like herself. As they say in our country - The "Best" is the enemy of the "Good". And that makes sense.
