Shinji doesn't really HAVE any skills tho lmao. It makes far more sense to be a magic contract given all the girls universally hate him too.

Shinji doesn't have any capability as a magus sure, but he is skilled in social communication within the normal world before all the magic stuff. He has tons of girlfriends, and when shirou gets bullied he has been stated to have systematically defended shirou through really smart ways. Shinji recently has been pretty popular within NTR circles for FSN related stuff as of late, and they're taking the inspiration off the hollow/ataraxia and UBW ending where he's not actually a douchebag and somehow gets all the girls that way. He just seems really retarded, because that's what being involved in the supernatural world looks like as a normal person in type moon works... you go batshit insane, look at noel from tsuki:re

He has charm sure but it only works on women who doesn't know him. Against women who knows him the only way they would be with him was being forced, magically or not. Look at Rider and Sakura during and before the main storyline. So magecraft and blackmail are really the only ways for him to get with these women.
That's the point of corruption though? Like the woman falls for the guy she normally never would through manipulation, i dont mind shinji dangling sakuras life like this but it feels like were moving too fast idk

Again, in every post-war setting, he's not an asshole alot of doujins center around this fact, saber and rin for the most part don't know him TOO well so I believe it could work

Was not arguing against that point. The original point was Shinji has enough personality or charm to make women who knows him to want him without magecraft and maybe blackmail. Which seems impossible to me. Rin alone would not want him anywhere near her no matter how much he seems repented. Don't know what Sakura and Rider's feelings about him post FSN is but I doubt it is positive.
It is a risk of using a well know subject like FSN as your source. The characters need to act OOC for the story to work but if too OOC and people will notice.
Rin knows him quite well even before FSN. She hated him from way before. If anything she would be one most likely not to trust any "Good Shinji" act to get close. I am sure some doujin ignores this for a quick fap.
Rin saves his life in UBW, like idk what canon this is taking, prolly some HA shit but shinji could manipulate tohsaka by currying favor some kind of way, like even playing up on her guilt for sakuras entire life, If he's lying to her and manipulating her it wouldnt be OOC, Rin puts on a fake facade to people who dont know her mage life, if shinji already knows shes a mage she wouldnt be so cold or uneager to talk. She literally avoids conversations on purpose because she doesnt want people to know shes a mage.

Okay a few things to talk about here.
1. Rin saves Shinji because she is a good person. Not because she likes him or even she not dislike him.
2. Shinji lying and manipulating her is not OOC but Rin believing him would be OOC. Rin does not like Shinji because she knows he is lying manipulative bastard. Also she might also know he abused Sakura. So Rin trusting him would be a major OOC.
3. Shinji knowing Rin is a mage does not make her be warm or want to talk to him. They known each other for most of their lives. So they already known each other to be mages. She disliking him for the reasons listed above and have nothing to do with they being mages.
As this is a NTR work, I understand canon character personality and events have to be altered so NTR can happen. I for one thought the first thing the girls should have done instead of agreeing to Shinji's deal was to tell Shirou and have him trace Rule Breaker and end the farce. But I understand that can't happen for one reason or another. I just think if any of these characters would trust or like him it would be major OOC since most of them already knows what he is like. But if anyone still does think he could get these girls with his charm and personality then I doubt I can convince you otherwise anymore.

You're contradicting yourself then, you're saying in the same sentence that events and character personality have to be altered for NTR to happen, yet you refuse to believe that he can't get the girls with just the setting/charm? Like by your logic, the scenario where he gets the girls through deceit and his natural charms wouldn't be so far-fetched

Reread what I said. I said I understand things have to be altered for NTR to happen but too much alteration becomes a distraction or turn off for those who knows the canon. Which is the risk of using an well-known story.
