A pretty convenient and “objective” take on the situation. Most of the feedback about the new version is that the focus has moved away from Freya and onto side characters—but your response is basically: “That’s what Patrons are paying for, and everyone else should go touch grass.”I'll explain it in a simple way so that even those who think I'm milking the patrons who pay me for any reason can understand.

Still, I find it pointless to whine about extra and optional scenes that are only available to those who pay for them.
You grown people already know that humans need to earn money to fulfill their basic needs. I earn a part of my income from creating extra scenes.
I create extra scenes for the people who support me financially. Milking, as you guys call it. Anyway, if I don't make money from patreon, I'll have to work in other jobs. As a result, you won't see the end of that project you ADORE
so much.
You are/were a member of my patreon and you are annoyed by the extra scenes I make almost every patch? Stop paying me. Or you shouldn't have became my member without reading the patch notes.
You're not a member of my patreon and you're annoyed by the extra scenes for Patrons that I make almost every patch? You guys need to touch grass.
I guess I'll have to touch the grass too. I shouldn't have taken this site too seriously. Anyway, have fun everyone.
What I don’t understand is, if the Patrons are really happy, then why does every new version from the $13 tier keep getting leaked? In the end, not just Patrons, but everyone plays the version with extra scenes anyway.
I do enjoy your work and the game itself. The main issue isn’t that some scenes are for Patrons only. The problem is that, with or without them, there’s very little progress with Freya’s character or scenes involving her.
But of course, the reason you’re not earning as much as you could—despite having such a big audience—must be the fault of people who “can’t touch grass,” not the flawed monetization system, where people feel disappointed with what they paid for and end up sharing it for free.
I really want to see how the story ends, and I hope this project doesn’t get abandoned. I’d also be happy if you had more Patrons and a higher income.
But right now, the new release has already been leaked for the third or fourth time, and new users are joining because they see Patrons sharing the version early—and with extra scenes.
Take a break, touch some grass, and try to look at the game from the outside.
Would you be okay, after 10 months of development, seeing characters like Jeremiah, Freya, and Samuel—only to realize Freya still doesn’t even have a sex scene? And that’s when the first sex scene could easily be the middle of the story.
Instead, you’re getting scenes with side characters and for free, because Patrons are apparently so satisfied that they leak the paid version every time.
