This game was on my list but I hadn't actually played it since I knew an update was coming soon and I wanted to get a more complete experience, and I'm glad I did, everything here is great, the writing is funny and witty the characters are beautifully rendered the story beats are interesting and keep you engaged and Freya is just devilish fun. tldr: it's excellent.
For those wondering about the game size you will see where those extra gigs went when you play it, the animations are smooth and don't have that robotic feel to it, the renders are incredibly detailed, the transitions, the sound effects, even silly stuff like bouncy or different color text, (I know that doesn't really affect game size in a meaningful way, but I want to mention anyway) it just has that extra effort vibe all over it that shows that the dev cares and goes the extra mile, this game is clearly a cut above the rest.
