I now have 90 samuel tier and 77 uxor tier members. And now I've got my peak earnings. So the patrons are happy that their support for me is always increasing.
Your question would be more meaningful If I had a magic wand that could make everyone happy.
Yes.
I checked just to be sure. Your Patreon stats have repeated the same pattern since February.
Back in January, you had 228 paid subscriptions. In February, with the 0.4b release, you gained 50 more. I assume many people subscribed to the higher tiers just to play the new release sooner.
However, that version was leaked—and from Pixeldrain alone, 0.4b’s samuxor build was downloaded over 3,000 times.
In March and April, your numbers stayed around 230. Then on April 26, you posted an update here with release dates, farmed more traffic, and gained another wave of Patrons. The latest data shows a +50 increase again, though it might be higher since the stats for the 30th aren't out yet.
And again, you’re losing potential traffic due to leaks—Pixeldrain shows 1,800 downloads for the 0.5a version already.
The pattern is easy to see.
Considering that it wasn’t just a regular build that got leaked, but the version with the most content, it’s likely your income peak won’t grow any further for closest months.
Because your most profitable “product” is essentially early access, and that’s where about 1/5 of your total subscriptions come from—specifically those buying the uxor and samuel tiers.
I don’t have a Patreon myself, so maybe my opinion doesn’t matter. But I’d really like you to take an honest look at how much traffic you’re getting from this platform(f95)—and how poorly it's being monetized.
I get that money is the main motivation for any developer to keep going. That’s why I hope you’ll not only continue offering early access, but also fill each release with enough content to hold those who paid for it to not leak it.
You can't please everyone, but most people here have the same complaint about the game.
They started playing because of Freya, but instead of her, they’re getting extra scenes with others(absolute majority for free).
You have your own vision of how Freya’s corruption should unfold—and that vision is what keeps people interested in the game.
But those thousands of people who wait for each new release also have their own expectations for how much new content(and about who) there should be after months of waiting.
