ikr, UE is one of the worlds worst engines, the pefromance on it is terrible, the graphical quality on it is terrible, hell I'd say it is the reason most game suck nowadays. you get low frames, and bad graphics due to how the engine works. It basically flickers like hell, and to fix that you need to add a lot of bluring techniques TSAA ... which leaves you with a foggy/blurry looking games and bad edges.
it's probably one of the world's least optimised engines

Hey, good game. Although a little buggy. Some missions don't work like this guy's here.

And walking in this game is a pain.

But I liked that it's similar to Skyrim.

Unfortunately I won't be able to try out your project as well when it's ready. Because I have a really bad PC. (Intel UHD620)

However, the good and bad things about the Unreal Engine are:

- bad: bad performance
- good: you can reduce the graphics a lot to the point of being able to run it haha

Anyway, I wish you luck with your project, hugs from Brazil :D

New build is full of bugs. Cant get anywhere bc every NPC is somewhat mad at me for no reason. Cant find the imp cave nor can i talk to any npc, bc they ALL decided to hate me for existing. Also cannot skip tutorial and after first trap, you can fall under the map just by going to the mushroom...
I, literally, stole the clothes off the back of the Blacksmith and she didn't react in the least bit. I crouched down behind her and stole her clothes, I left the gold and hammer and she never reacted to it.
Stop looting everything with NPCs in the area. They tend to get triggered when you just take shit, especially if you take gold from a container. Try crouching or just stop looting anything near an NPC, nearly everything in those barrels and crates is kind of crap anyways.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Imp cave is on the north side of the map, it is to the right of the wall/watchtower manned by the town guard. The imps inside are not hostile, so they won't attack unless you do. Randomly looting crates while they are in view will trigger them, try crouching and looting something behind or to the side of them.

Hello.

I wanted to try the game and got that window when I tried to open it :

Can someone give me an explaination? Since I have not enough knowledge, I wouldn't want to do something unnecessary or even a mistake.

Good continuation.

if this is the cave I'm thinking of, then after creating your character, when you respawn at the big gate where the knights are stationed from whom you can get a pass for 50 gold, from that moment you go left until you reach the mountains and then along them to the right until you reach a kind of shaft, go through the door and inside there is a mine where there are imps and iron deposits

Honestly, this is why you don't attempt to create the next "skyrim" or any large scale open-world RPG as a single developer/small team. It's been 6 years, and yet while I have a lot of respect for the number of mechanics that actually work and the effort that they clearly put in, the world still feels empty.

A lot of NPCs just have sex animation with placeholder dialog, animals don't even have moving animations and just slide around the terrain, most zones outside the city are just barren and effectively useless.

Again, massive respect for actually improving the game step by step during all these years. I was shocked that they actually implemented NPC aggro and steal mechanics, even if they are basically a copy&paste from skyrim. I haven't done much combat, but the basics seem to be there too. The sex animations are actually pretty nice, even though I'm not exactly a fan of the models.

It's also unfortunate that they decided to go with UE as their engine, I don't think I've seen any UE open-world game not struggle with performance.
really boring in this game like I don't know I got to the city after 2 hours I accepted the quests and I completely didn't know what to do because quest logs are messed up and they don't show your quest goal at all it would be good if they made some quest markers or something

Oh wow... I'm back to this game like in 4 years... kind of shame that the movement and combat still are like the most default Unreal Engine settings... same goes to camera...
And it is the most funny thing that both Feign and Arhipelagates are the best looking 3d games so far.

i stole one guard's bilhook one time while crouching. He didnt react in any way but everyone else was mad at me even after killing me multiple times. I restarted the game and even erased the save files, but now although i didnt steal anything this time, theyre still mad at me and i cant even talk to npc ;-; reinstalling the game also didnt work

Thanks for cave instructions tho!!! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

That is bizarre. The only thing I can imagine to try would be to 'trigger' one of the guards and see if they will arrest you.

I did manage to trigger a few NPCS and Guards, but it would usually bring up a prompt where I can say 'You got me' and I go to jail peacefully. Where I could then just walk out of the building with no bitching from anyone.

Ok! gonna try this game, hope i dont regret

Edit: Bad, loaded game it was all black, immediately left and deleted.
This is why we have big studios developing ambitious games, this one is a good example.
I dont even wanna write bad stuff, its too painful, i dont recommend atm

Well it certainly has something of skyrim about it... like huge open world with not much in it to do, probably boring quest, bad graphics, bugs, bad performance and you just want to do x but you don't know where to find x, turns out you need to do 100 boring fetch quests before x spawns somehwere on the other end of the map from where you are, which will take you 3 hours to reach by foot and probably get killed along the way.

If anyone can tell where to find huge dicked creatures and if there are bulges in animation or inflation, that would be great...

Is there a way to learn any spells? I upgraded to Heal skill, but I haven't been able to find anyone to teach it. Or any spells at all.
