The Lifepath currently has 77 planned “beats” (each one representing 1 or more passages in the game).

Let's be extremely generous and say that each beat is three passages, and that each passage translates to one full page book equivalent.

Almost one and a half years to write ~240 pages! Or I should say, rewrite, because as far as I know this is the lifepath that existed in that previous version

In the fan remake/fan changed Renpy version I am currently slowly working on, I just wanted to get some input on the "make-up/clothes" thing.

My initial thought was that Kate (read developer, me, in this case) selects her make-up and clothes before any "date/cafe day". That is easy if everyone trusts I am good enough to select for you . In later stages that especially comes into play regarding her underwear in the Hard Cock Cafe. She would use different ones for every day (she cannot be washing them every day!?!) for example...

But my second thought is that it might be better to maybe have a "poll" so more people might have a say in her appearance. Maybe not for every day in the Cafe, but for the important ones? Eye-liners, shadows, lipstick, nails and clothes etc.

The third way is of course to implement the complicated choice system that is in the web version, but it might be too time consuming for what is might return.

I really like the clothing and makeup mechanic in Female Agent.
So i would prefer it if the player can control this aspect of the game. In later stages being able to decide if she wears panties or not would be nice.
And if it would be possible add Stockings and Pantyhose to the wardrobe

His passages are usually 3-5 sentences and then a word that you click on that links to the next passage.

Basically by just publishing a newsletter monthly on Patreon promising things for 17 months but no updating F95 will just say " keep the nice work fella! "

I'm sorry but this rule is so damn trash.... no wonder most games are not even finished never.

The real problem is people still paying for something that hasn't received an update in 2 years. People can do what they want but when you do that you get this.

Ah, where do we even begin with Crush? Let’s take a stroll down memory lane. Back in Trump’s first term, our beloved dev rebooted his Lifepath? project under the grandiose banner of the MFAGA plan (Make Fictional Activity Great Again). Fast forward a few years, and he promised to "do better" with the Lifeless Path? MOABS plan (Mother of Acting Busy Seriously). Spoiler alert: he didn’t.

The last actual release was on 24 November 2023, and since then, it’s been a slow crawl to nowhere. Here’s the kicker: the forum rules slap an "abandoned" tag on projects after 18 months of inactivity (that’s 78 weeks, for those keeping score). And yet, his current "plan" involves rewriting 77 scenes—yes, scenes he had already removed from a prior version. At a generous pace of 1 scene per week, we’re looking at a release date of 16 May 2025.

At this point, I’m convinced he’s just trolling his supporters. The man’s frazzled, and clearly not eating or drinking (except maybe the tears of his fanbase). Honestly, he needs to spice up his excuse game. Here’s a freebie:

Crush doesn't particularly care about F95 (he pretty much ridicules this forum), so I wouldn't count on a release "just to avoid the abandoned tag"

He's written most of the scenes but I don't think that he's actually tested a build yet.

If he's planning on putting out a playable version of the game he has nearly finished storyboarding then he's going to need to test for bugs and other problems.

Providing updates on patreon or wherever only works for up to 18 moths around here. Afterwards only actual update to the game makes the tag go away.

TBF most games haven't gotten an update since the marked crashed the last 2 times. It's only been a couple days. Not that that excuses Crush, but even good devs can't beat that timeline.
