Week 6:
Hey guys! Another week, another non-stop grind. This time, I was focused on reworking a big chunk of the Elite social class content. The pacing felt off, so I decided to rewrite parts of it to make the decisions flow better and add more emotional weight. Tester feedback has been mixed again, but I’m feeling optimistic about the direction it’s going.
I also spent some time cleaning up bugs that have been lingering for too long. It’s those little things that really start to pile up and slow progress. Honestly, I’m ready to move past them, but as always, I want to make sure everything’s as polished as possible.
I’m pushing all this out to testers for feedback, but at this point, I’m really feeling the fatigue. It’s nearly midnight, so I’m going to get some rest and tackle the next task tomorrow with a fresh perspective. Thanks for being patient with me as I slowly but surely wrap this up! ❤
Week 7:
Hey everyone! Quick update from me today, as I’m completely wiped out. I spent the last several days revisiting the Africa scenes from the Lifepath. Honestly, it’s been a huge slog trying to make them both engaging and manageable. There were a few tricky narrative choices, and it wasn’t clicking, so I made some major cuts and rewrote sections to smooth things out.
The feedback from testers was positive, though, so at least there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I’m hoping to push out a polished version for the weekend, but I can’t deny that I’m running on fumes.
On top of that, I made some minor tweaks to the NPC interactions in the new club areas, trying to make those more dynamic. It’s been tough to balance pacing and depth, but I think I’m getting there. I’ll get back to it all tomorrow after some much-needed rest. ❤
Week 8:
Hey guys, it’s been one of those weeks where things just keep slipping through the cracks. I was hoping to finish up the Africa section and get that into testers’ hands by now, but it’s taking longer than expected. I’ve had to rework parts of the story to keep things fresh and interesting, and I’m not quite happy with how some parts are turning out, so I’ll be revising again tomorrow.
I also got some feedback from the testers about the pacing – they say it’s still too slow in certain areas, so I’ve been adjusting the flow to speed things up without sacrificing detail. Honestly, it’s tough because there’s so much content to juggle.
Anyway, I’m pushing through it, but it’s getting late, and I’ve been working straight for too many hours. Going to crash for the night and try again in the morning with a clearer head. Thanks for hanging in there! ❤

Hey guys, so this is a bit of a last-minute report because I’ve literally just hit a wall. I was planning to wrap up the Africa content this week, but I had a bit of a meltdown over the whole thing. Some of the rewrites just weren’t clicking, and I had to step back and think about how I want to approach it.
I think I’ve figured out the next steps, but I’m exhausted. Honestly, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated with how slowly things are moving. I’ve been working on this project non-stop for months, and while I can see the progress, it’s still a long way from being finished.
But hey, we’ll get there. I just need a good night’s sleep and a fresh perspective tomorrow. Also, I’m out of coffee, so that’s a huge issue right now. Sorry for the delay again! The dog ate my homework. ❤
