He posted a link to the most recently 'completed' (and still admittedly Beta) releases of 1.21 in the general discussion today.

I played it. It took me...15 minutes? It was simply clicking. It had placeholder art. Towards the mid-to-end of the passages half or more of the 'options' for responses were unavailable to choose. And right there at the end were blatant notes or outright coding errors showing through in the text.

What it did have was frequent visual images and a fantastic paper doll. That's literally all that his game is riding on: Victoria's work.

The writing is good, but it's narrow, uncomplicated and highly, highly repetitive.

This version is 18+ months old at this point. God. The lack of work ethic is astounding.
After 20 months of writing i expect at least Brandon Sanderson plot story level not just "good".

It's worth noting that the Beta he linked is one from May of 2024, from before he scrapped it all and decided to reboot lifepath. That's not to justify his abysmal pace, just saying that it's nothing new.

Even his normally docile herd is getting restless at this point since Crush can't even be bothered to grease the teats.

"Hey guys! I'm creating some detailed metrics on the amount of art remaining, so you can get a clearer idea of progress and time left, but it's taking quite a lot of time to organise and tabulate everything so I'll publish the report tomorrow. Sorry for the delay."

The report:

The fact that the numbers aren't even aligned properly is just chef's kiss

Seeing how complex these "metrics" are will be an interesting way to judge how much effort they contribute each week. If they are so complex they have to be delayed I expect them to be presented with flashy graphics and multiple interactable pivot tables.
I knew the wait would be worth it. Such an advanced graphic must have taken days of focussed effort to create:

Are you sure that's what it is? The TP doesn't say that. I thought it was just another random porn picture to accompany his saying nothing.
He does seem to have a habit of including photos of hot women in paper-doll-style poses whenever he mentions the remaining art. Makes you wonder if he's doing it deliberately so people who are not following closely think the reason the art is taking so long is because it is going to be photoreal

Really good joke. I've rarely laughed so much when I read the following comments about the authenticity of the pictures.
It seems that you were the only person who understood that I was joking, even after I added the image of Kappa drinking coffee at the end .

The fewer people who understand the meaning of "kappa", the more of a "boomer" I become .

71 and 5 out of how many scenes? How long does it take to tick off one of these scenes? How, if I read the report correctly, did crush and the lovely victoria not have any record/document/list of outstanding and planned tasks? No checklist? Not even a gantt chart for crush to waste time making? How did it take crush two (partial) work days to produce this metric?
Might as well be a lead block for all the "transparency" this provides.
