This game is downright unplayable. I tried this after playing Blackmore, and since I liked that, I tried to give this a chance to, but... It's utter shit. It's bugged as hell, extremely long black intro everytime I launch it, and what's worse, the animations are pretty awful too, like they're coming from the early 2000s. I already played several games rom this forum, but this one was the first that was so fucking bugged that I couldn't even play. Total garbage.

i tried that too but caused some other in game problem backup your save before trying it
Something to point out is it is very easy to softlock this game. If you donate all your money to Jazz and you have 0 energy left, you can't use the cardboard boxes and progress to the next day.
you can talk to the sissy in the camp. he/she gives you a meal that restores some energy so you can work to afford sleep. i think you can only do it once, though
Afraid not. Maybe the sissy will do that after a certain day, but on Day 1, if you have $0 and 0 Energy, then you have to load or restart.
I've checked, you are right. And the weird thing is the animation is there, you can ask and eat food but you don't get energy. Looks like a bug to me because I know it was working in a previous version. Or it was taken out because players could get infinite energy?
So it seems like a softlock was discovered and Darktoz tried to resolve it with the sissy, but that lead to a potential exploit for infinite energy? Couldn't the problem be resolved by saying you can use the boxes if you don't have enough money, but you are forced to do some work the next day with no financial compensation or boost to your stats and skills, meaning you end up with less energy?

I actually loved this game and yet I am disappointed a little. So many potential good scenes could be added. Too many characters and half of them have only one scene. I love the story and characters from this game more than his another game except visual part. It feels like the dev just wanted to quit this game, sad.
