I think that if you will upload new versions to the public access, the developer will definitely refuse to develop the game)
As a whole "Piracy" is a big give and take relationship. Game of Thrones was a massive thing, but was it so massive because it also became the number 1 show pirated during season 2/3. It stayed the most Pirated show even throughout its final season. Was HBO losing money, yes a fuck ton of it. But without piracy would the show have stayed relevant.
If you actually look into it Piracy as a whole tends to be a slight net positive. There are multiple reasons for this, but imo the number 1 reason is that Piracy gets a person in the door of a product. It acts like a demo would. If a person enjoys the product they are more likely to pay for it later on, if they don't they were never going to pay for it anyway.
Also as an aside if you have this stance on "Porn" games then what about actual "porn". It stands to reason that your stance should also be that you should pay for porn because otherwise the creators will refuse to make it. Thus if you have not payed for porn and watched any porn that is not explicitly made for free consumption then you have particpated in pirated content which then makes you a hypocrite.
