The developer did a great job as many of the old scenes have been reworked into brand new ones. A significant number of photos were replaced, which included "pink background". You must see the necessary scenes in the toilet in the club
Changelog:
- Added a new outfit. Pink dress.
- Removed some pink background when Violetta works as a prostitute on the highway.
- Removed pink background when Violetta fucks Albert (Paulina's sugar daddy).
- Removed the pink background during sex in the toilet of a nightclub (for all outfits).
- The pink background in the toilet mirrors has been removed.
- Removed pink background during sex Valery (sugar daddy).
- Removed all the pink background in the strip club.
- Removed all pink backgrounds during sex with Andrey.

You can change display resolution in Windows. Since Windows 95 to Windows XP it was very easy by right clicking desktop and selecting properties, but Microsoft started to hide it making less intuitive in later versions, though it's still there if you search display/screen resolution of control panel.
Bro I'm not going to swap my resolution to 800x680 just to be able to see some 320x180 1.5 second looped picture in a roughly translated WiP Russian porn game.
"Just change your screen resolution every time you play" isn't remotely a reasonable solution, especially when on the Dev side it's just swapping a couple image files to fix.
Well... I have 1280x1024 display and it's OK for most things. I didn't have problem with this game when I have played it.
If you are average user, you don't need 4k resolution for your desktop! It can be only useful for special cases like if you have to work with many spreadsheet columns or some other special work, but not average use! The main thing it does is waste money as those displays are expensive!
And I'm not sure about developer country, but this game is fairly well translated (I've seen games almost impossible to read).
I'm not sure if it's so simple swap image files - this game is made with .QSP engine and so it doesn't work well with extreme resolutions. So either reduce your desktop resolution or look for games that have better scaling.
BTW. you can have different resolutions for desktop and different for fullscreen games supporting resolution change.

True, but if I had 4k display, I would change resolution to something lower (not as low as 800x600 ofc), because on high res everything is so small...
Back in the 1999 year I had an excellent 17" CRT display based on Sony Trinitron that was able to do 1600x1200 75 Hz, but even then I used mostly 1024x768 @ 100 or 120 Hz, because desktop text and icons looked so small on higher res.
Using maximum available resolution became popular when LCD replaced CRT, because LCD uses constant points and doesn't scale so good as CRT, though this should not be so big issue on 4k display which have plenty of those points - I mean can you even see a single dot pixel on 4k?

I have a 4k display that really just goes to waste. I am almost always in 1080p. I've tried playing in 4k, even 1440p, and honestly the difference between them quality wise is so small that it's just not worth the perfomance hit or having to squint to read text because it really just makes everything so small.
Older days I agree was 1024x768 or 1280x1024 all the way.
I miss the CRT days and its HQ flexibility. My usage was for daily, text, web, etc at 1024x768, regular gaming at 1280x1024 and for pretty 3D games at 1600x1200.
Now I use a 1080p 27'' display and a 4K 55'' TV which is also at 1080p for PC use. When gaming with TV I sometimes use 1440p, rarely use 4K. For old RPGMs and other games I still lower the resolution to 720p or more if necessary with LCDs and TVs.

Anyways Windows has a built in up-scale on the same resolution change section, and most all games nowadays either adjust to your settings, or just launch themselves in the required dimensions.
My rig can mostly handle the required strain, though I usually drop it to 2560x1440 and futz with settings for the heavier graphics when gaming.
I didn't get my set-up just to not use it after all :V
