QSP FemLife [v3.2] [Mr_saturn]

I'm very confused with this game. I was trying to expand a "window?" with a picture of a "train station?" and it vanished and I can't get it back. I tried starting the game again, but it's just a pink background with some black symbols on the left. Behind that there's a grey background with nothing on it. I pressed one of the symbols and the little woman graphic came back, but not the large picture.

When I restart the game all I see is an actions page with Northern District and Wait 10 min on it. I've pressed both multiple times, but nothing is happening. Can I fix this or have I broken it? Can someone please tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it?

I don't know what you're trying to open, because it just opens the .exe file and the game runs.

But I'm here to help: Just open the file (whatever you want to open) with Notepad++ or any normal text editor instead of double-clicking it.
You're good to go.

damn if there's one game that should be ported in Renpy, it's definitely that one.
that QSP thing is so annoying and inconvenient.

Yeah, I usually don't really care that much when games use these other engines, but QSP is so dated along with the interface, and I bet some people can't even figure out how to play or even run this.

It could definitely use a facelift and with Ren'Py it would probably draw more people in as well.

for me, workupload has always been the least problematic

It has a limit though, can't upload anything bigger than 3GB.

There are literally cheats that DISABLE those stats though? Like, you can get infinite energy and never feel hungry with a simple click of a button.

You might be right, but changing the game's code and doing everything from scratch requires hundreds of hours of work.

Either way, you can learn to play it. I honed my skills on Girl Life, so I didn't have any major problems with FemLife.

Nah, I don't care, I just compress it for people, it is simple enough to run, but a lot of people have never even heard of QSP or half of the "other engines" games use, that is why many don't find an audience.

You might be right, but changing the game's code and doing everything from scratch requires hundreds of hours of work.

It would not be nearly that much work nor hours.

Quick Fixes (90% success rate – try in order):

1. Delete Saves (most common fix):
   • Go to game folder → delete all save*.qsp files (or saves folder).
   • Start new game → portraits load fine.
   • Backup old saves first (rename to old_saves).
2. Clear Cache/Browser (if playing HTML5/QSP in browser):
   • Ctrl+Shift+Del → clear cache/cookies for site.
   • Try incognito mode or different browser (Firefox > Chrome).
   • Hard refresh: Ctrl+F5.
3. Redownload Game:
   • Get latest v3.2 from F95zone (full torrent/Mega).
   • Extract fresh → replace old folder.
   • Images/portraits missing = blank screen fixed.
4. QSP Player Fix:
   • Use official QSP player from F95 thread (Windows/Linux/Mac versions).
   • Run: qsp.exe game.qsp (not browser).
   • If Linux/Mac: Replace backslashes \ in file paths with / in game.qsp (edit in Notepad++).
5. Disable Mods:
   • Remove MODUI/cheat mods (common cause of blank portraits).
   • Play vanilla → reinstall mods one by one.
6. Advanced: File Path Bug:
   • Open game.qsp in hex editor/Notepad++ → search "portrait" → fix paths to images (e.g., images/portraits/ must exist).

Test:

• Load new game → click portrait → should show full image/stats.

Installation: Extract the .zip file and replace the modified FemLife.qsp file with the original FemLife.qsp file in the game folder.

I have the same issue. Fresh full install (3.2 Patreon version), QSP 5.9.5. Tried sleeping in the dorm and the apartment, both do not reload the energy bar. Eating in the apartment kitchen reloads the hunger bar, but it empties fully after exiting the room.

Perhaps the issue is related to the full 3.2 pack?

No, it's not, it's related to the QSP tool. Using the QQSP version provided, it appears to work.

So, I apologize. Since this is the case in the latest version of the game for patrons, it seems the developer forgot to add this bug fix. Developer fixed it a long time ago. I don't have a problem with either sleep or hunger in these icons (they normally disappear and reappear when Violetta sleeps/eats). I don't have this bug because I'm getting the latest version for testing and this bug was already fixed. I'll contact the developer and have this bug fixed.

I ment i try to open the FemLife.qproj with firefox but there is only code no game how can i start the game i extrected it but it wont work do i need enything else ?
