I've been asking the engine developer to make gamepad bound by default. Unfortunately I cannot change this on my end, sorry.
If i don't touch anything, it just sits as a white screen, alt+enter gives a white box on a black background, switching between full screen/window a few times causes the window to close.
I just tried the other femtality game. Results are similar, though there is background music.
Only thing i can think of are
1. Try to run in windows with old windows compatibility
2. Turn off your virus scanner and see if that's the problem (do so at your own risk, i think my game is safe but its never completely safe to turn off virus scanner)
