2. If an artist would have this much of a problem with their characters being "ruined",as you say, i belive they'd probably have more problems with them being fucked.

Sorry knowing real life artist tells me totally different. When someone changes there design it's an insult to them.. you don't like there design than don't use them is there opinion! The art they create is just that there art and they hate seeing it mutilated by others! They designed the characters as they liked and it is there art and than you change it! Stop making yourself feel good by thinking you are not mutilating someone's vision!
