Yes, you can completely avoid all entanglements with that character. The game is pretty good at letting you avoid content you don't want, except where MC's crush is concerned who starts the story off.

there hasnt been any new content for her in awhile. maybe this next update but see it being update after she did like 3 updates with content..

A replay/gallery is seriously needed. I have 14 pages of saves because there isn't one. That is something that should be in a game day one.

I also don't understand the point in the continual noises from characters. I have to play the game on mute, it get's REALLY annoying hearing a sound every 5 seconds. Every once in awhile is fine, but continually is just frankly ridiculous.

For my game, the main Studio (your home) is all f#cked up. Characters are miniature, areas are just floating in mid air, and things aren't displaying correctly. It is really screwed up.
