Taslk to stacy on the weekend to start. but if doesnt say that in your log then your not far enough in the main quest

i think you your done with the remodeling of the studio. if so stacy at her desk on the laptop on thursday in the afternoon time slot
No, I haven't started the renovation at all and haven't been able to.
Everyone was just telling me I need to start the theater story to do the renovation; now you're telling me I need to do the renovation to get the theater story lol.

well spend 1 day wandering around town and going to places and talking to ppls. stacy should talk about theater so talk with her in the morning.
for renovation you need to find siblings mother.
So I went back to earlier save,. I see what you mean. I got her at her laptop at the table on a Mon and Thurs at 600pm. But kept on going havent seen her since at it. My guess given that i saw her with her laptop after i got done remodeling. It either a once month thing or twice. You might have cycle thru some weeks to get it. I do I had a issue like that with AmRose meeting her at the Cafe had be don at specific time of the month.
I went and checked something out Hopefully this help. you need to cycle thru your weeks looking on Monday and Thursday at around 6pm at the table she should be at the far end on her laptop. click on her the scene should auto play

My last post But I may going bout this the wrong way. in your log under theater under progress the main storyline. it will be crossed out is there something bout a interview should be right under it. If you please list all quest that are not done.

Went back and found a post here from July or so discussing that bug.
Your welcom, sorry it took a while to figure it out. I remember posting the solution here. We backers had the option of sending them our saves and they "fixed it". But it was like 2 or 3 days before we got them back. But the working theory was that when the theater update hit. Anyone with the bug had no main storyline quest open. Hence you couldnt advance the questline. the master was bad too. so going back a few saves didnt help either.
I just started a new game and wow, that really was a bug. The laptop thing happens on the second day!
Wait, I went further and I distinctly remember having this conversation with Stacy watching the clown girl… I hope it actually resolves with something this time though.
Ah, I see. I have an "Invite Stacy to Amusement Park" task/conversation this time that I didn't on my first run.
EDIT: No, I went back and I have a January 2024 save of the whole amusement park visit and interviewing Tai. The bug must have been something else.

well glad you didnt have start over from scratch. even regular gaming i find that annoying.
I did have to start over from scratch; it's just been interesting looking at the preview images from a year and a half ago to figure out where the bug emerges.
Where this time around right after the Tai audition I am able to visit her at the theater, that never happened before. You see my immediate save after encountering her was to start working at the office.
that is strange never heard that one before. but can see it causing issues.

I went back in this thread and it looks like this issue goes back to early 2024, so unless you started playing before then you were probably not affected.
