I have the same problem, I can't start the quests "Pirates movies" and "Film and release the new movie" in the Main Story
When I meet Taisia next the billiards, in the Gun's Rssette's bar, she is dressed normally, never dressed as a clown, and when I try to talk to her, about the pirate movie, this line never comes up.
Is it necessary to do something beforehand to activate this speech?
Looks like Tasia has disappered. I need to talk to her about her role in the Pirate movie, but she's nowhere to be found. Her avatar is not visible at all on the places on the map. Not in the house, not in the theater, not at the bar...
When Lyssa messaged me the night after the carnival scene, I have not answered her message right away and postponed it a day, so I could work at the Orbix next morning. She dropped by the studio the next morning. I wonder if this could have shifted things through the game.
I will start again from where I was before the update and answer her message right away. Let's see what happens then.

Do you have the Pirates Movie quest at the "Find Taisia and recruit her for the movie" step?
Here's the full process of how it worked for me. This assumes you have already done all of the initial steps of talking to Stacy about the movie first to unlock the ability to start preparing for it.
- Speak with Stacy any time of day and choose the "Pirates Movie" option
- Add money to the Actress Budget until it is full and marked as "Done"
- Speak to Stacy again and select the "Recruit actress for the movie" option (I don't recall if this is dependent on the time of day)
- Now go find Taisia at Guns n' Rossette's bar after 6:00 (This might be only certain days)

Same here - play story mode and at load from last update just goes to main screen

OK, played the update from stratch and finished releasing the Pirate Movie.
Looks like Taisia disappears for some days for a reason. I found her in the bar and then things went smoothly.
For those who think this a "bug fix" update, it is far more than that. This update has really lots of new renders and new animations, a whole lot of new scenes.
This is a great game and this is a big update.
Money is a bit too tight. I work every day, including Wurst delivery, and I'm scraping by. I know these games make you grind, but if I do nothing else, my cash is barely more than my bills.
Can anyone help me? It tells me that to move forward I have to finish rennovetion, but I don't know how to do it, please help

Check the Pirate Movie tab on your phone. It should show a screen with the steps you need to do to progress the Movie Production.
I think without buying energy from the 71 store, you can do both Delivery and Orbix job (the IT job) on the days when Orbix is available. The IT job is avaialble on most weekdays but you need to get to your desk like as soon as you wake up in the morning.
Hopefully that will help with your funding.
Why do I keep getting double charged for rent?
I shoot a film on Saturday evening, it ends around 1AM on Sunday, and I get the whole rundown of my earnings and expenses and get charged $350 for Studio Rent.
Same thing happened the week before, when I went out doing deliveries with Maya on Saturday night.
Then I go to bed, wake up Sunday morning, and immediately get charged another $350 for Studio Rent. Which ends up being more money than I have left, so Stacey keeps covering for me.
I think the game might be programmed to just look for Sunday AM when coming out of another event (sleep included), and uses that to trigger your expenses.

this might be a bug. I cannot talk to Stacy about the movie and the phone tab never appears.
In my phone the steps for the Pirate Movie It says to talk to Stacy in the morning but whenever I try to talk to her, only basic talk appears, nothing about the movie
This is the problem, for the other quests I follow the instructions and it is simple to do, but in this one nothing happens
and it seems that there are more people with this problem, could it be a bug?
Can anyone get me a save from the beginning of "Pirate Movie" Quest?

Try talking to her in the early morning. Think there was a label problem.
same. see if talking to her during early morning slot helps out.
