Alright, here's the full set of steps you need to complete the Pirates Movie quest for those asking (adja22, sabinonet, pomocek, Galandar). I loaded up my old save from before v0.9.20 and blasted through everything again after double-checking the code to see what prerequisites the questline had. This questline depends on both Taisia's storyline being complete (fully moved into the studio) and the film about anal with a red-headed farm girl being complete.

If this doesn't work for you then your game is either bugged or you have scenes from prior to v0.9.20 that you haven't completed yet (see above).

Hey, I've noticed if you do a scene that takes you past midnight on Sunday (like Debbie's nightshift scene), it will bill you for the week, and then do so again when you go to sleep. Probably not intended., but be wary of what you do late Saturday.

i start from a save file at the end of the previous update

This time I ignored the other Quests and just followed your guide for the Pirate Movie and I was able to complete everything.

And then I did the remaining Quests

- I couldn't get to the scene where we wake up and Stacy is pacing around nervously. From then on, there were no problems.

Thank you so much for your help. If it weren't for your guide, I would have had a hard time completing this quest.

I think the game triggers your expenses by just transitioning from an event and looking for "Sunday" and "AM"

how do we start maya's quest line? i'm at 0% for her

edit: poking around in the code, looks like you need 6 points with her. i couldn't be assed to monotonously talk to her each day, so i just opened console and maxed out her points.

my problem is that after 4) I get the cutscene where I talked with Stacy about the movie and after that, the app never appears on the phone, no matter what I try, also I'm not getting any further dialogue regarding that movie

Thanl you smasher_the_smith. However (just like Galandar up here), from my phone I do not see any progress to be made for the pirate movie. Tasia already moved in, I never had to collect money for the costume as you mentioned etc. I guess is bugged. Anyway, no big deal, I guess I will wait the next update when hopefully I will be able to trigger this quest.

I have run into the exact same issue. It is very painful to get it twice in the first 2 weeks. It looks like it will occur with ANY scene. My first week was with the cop in the park and the second one was at the theater. It looks like I will have to restart and be more aware of what day it is.

Hopefully a quickfix will be released.

OK I'm lost. Everybody is talking about renovation. For me never triggered. It is saying complete renovation, but I didn't even started and and also asking about complete tashia story 50/50 but never had chance on stage, And renovation nothing, nada, zero. And other quest asking for it.
Orbix story is 75% and Theater I have 100%, I'm lost and I have over $4000. Any help what I did wrong?

sounds a glitch, delete game and saves under \appdata\renpy and try again.
