Is it strange that blackmail blocking does not apply to all games, or only to this one? For example, the game "moving down", apparently, does not fall under this wave, although it is straight hard blackmail. Then why haven't they covered it up until now?
That's a very valid point. Bad things happen in stories all the time, need to happen becaue without bad guys the good guys wouldn't have anything to do and the book/movie would get boring if they just sat in their living room playing PS4 (even superheroes can't get a PS5) and downing a beer. And as stated, blackmailing in some way often plays a part in it.
So it cannot be blackmail alone. I have two possible theories, only on could apply here.
One is showing blackmail (a crime) as positive. So a game where you hold critical info or whatever and have fun could be out. But this is not the case here, we're working against blackmail.
So it probably is the combo blackmail/porn. Being forced to engage in sexual activity amounts to rape, so that might just be what they're after.
Of course what was said inbetween also is correct: if Patreon doesn't know, they will not block.
