I don't remember any missing images/animations from when I last played it (admittedly a while ago), my advice would be to re-download from a different link than the one you used before and/or try a different method of unzipping (I recommend 7zip)

You might also want to check that any patches you've used are the same across all versions as that might create a conflict

It is a pirate site, where games are pirated. To do that someone must acquire the game first, that normally means buying it. If no one does that and then "give" it to the zone, then no game can released here. As it hasn't an update yet, that hasn't had happen till now.
