It's very uncommon in adult games, however, and even in normal gaming, it's presented as DLC, or microtransactions, or such; not finishing off content that was left undone (aka endings) before it was labelled as "complete".
EDIT: Also, all that content from Paradox games is mostly them going, "ah, crap, we need to encourage them to pay $500 more for our game... lets half-ass give them aspects so they need to pony up the cash to get the full thing." lol.

Well, yeah, they need updated like most every single mod when an update comes out, and it only breaks for "Week 3".
I mean, no? The normal versions do not have all the extra content.

you can avoid everything. not much game then although.
That's why I called it pathetic, not even an ending. I would rather make a separate game in the same universe. Some of the characters would visit the new game time to time.
