Yeah, it simply CANNOT be that you are missing a patch that has been discussed to hell and back in the thread... It generally is good practice to read at least the last one or two pages of the thread before posting - or so I've heard.

I just clicked it and it downloaded. It came up as a potential threat but I think that is fine with this. Someone else should probably confirm as Idk.

I'm running it with the Japanese locale and have the patch, but for some reason when I press "start" on the main menu to actually get into the VN itself the game just stops and starts using more of my PC, and I have to close it via task manager.
I've even tried turning off windows defender and other antivirus in case that was screwing with it but no luck.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

In case anyone else is still having the slow issues for Windows 10, just DL this zip file here, and follow the ReadMe instructions! Literally just copy-pasting and replacing 2 files from the .zip to the game folder.
