Dammit, I didn't see your post mentioning this potential malware issue with that file host (normally my web browser doesn't respond to potential threats, but MS Defender usually notices any potential infections while the file is being downloaded to my hard drive).
Which over the span of years of downloading hundreds of AVN's, I have never ever seen this happen before with my browser. (My Firefox browser stopped the download because it said the download was infected with a virus or malware.) I allowed the download to continue, scanned while it was still zipped, and the scan took a while...but said it was clean. I then extracted and re-scanned the files again...it found nothing.

One LI has a boyfriend at the start, but they have broken up. One LI has a husband, but they are practically broken up. The only other girls with boyfriends are not lewdable/romanceable.

I haven't tried the game before due to my allergy to sandbox but it plays it like a VN. Maybe it would be better to get rid of the map but right now is no problem at all. Renders are good and the sex secenes are pretty good. On the other hand it takes a while to reach the chapters with sex, so maybe some players will discard the game early due to the lack of sex. It can be avoided easily adding a couple of sex scenes with the stripper or other girls earlier but that's my opinion.
Storywise and when it comes to kinks this is quite tame for a game about drug dealing and the mob. Better than the usual tenant fucks landlady and co. but still that's the base of the game when you get rid of the breaking bad paint. At first I thought the corruption/good guy points would play into how the MC deal with the girls and the rest but so far I've only seen vanilla harem tropes.
Overall this is a good vn but it can be better with little changes imo.

While I have no clue about the status of this specific game, or the files you downloaded, I would caution you against completely relying on scanning files with AV in order to ensure you're safe. What's been going on for a while on here is some malicious guy has been including code within games they upload. That code won't be detected by any AV because there's nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, what the code does is that when you play the game it will download something that IS a virus and run it in the background while you're none the wiser. Sometimes there's a timer included so it doesn't run before x date/time.
If you want to protect yourself against this type of attack then scanning something with your AV is a good first step. From there I'd recommend what I use - Sandboxie+ Free edition. You can set it up so that you have a Sandbox configuration that cannot access the network, then when it comes to playing any of these VNs just right click the executable and select Run in Sandbox.
The snippets I've seen seem like they've been copy/pasted from Chat GPT with some basic conditions essentially telling the thing not to run at all if it's inside a sandbox, but if you're blocking that sandbox from using the network then even if they started trying to break out then there's another level of protection.
That said, it's probably fine. Chances are it was more of a filehost thing than the files themselves. Two things that can help with that: Jdownloader is great for downloading from a bunch of the file hosts used on here and will mostly skip the garbage malicious ads they can serve up. uBlock Origin will help for blocking them in the browser itself.

Yes, but she breaks up with him before doing anything sexual with him. At this point, her path has not started at all for MC.

Just discovered this gem yesterday and I’ve been glued to it till the end of chapter 7. I was initially afraid of the sandbox aspect before discovering that there is none, it’s a very simple point & click game and I love it!
Great work Onyx Decadence, please don’t turn this game into a fuck-fest like manyyyyy other developers did with their game just to milk their patrons chapter after chapter. I enjoy the slow pace here, in fact it's great to see for once that you get no sex scene at all in the first chapters, it proves that you worry more about building up a solid story than falling into the classical porn scenario. Chapter 7 is the exception though, a disappointment to me, MC does not worry anymore about Solomon and the corrupted cop looking for him, or about the safety of his loved ones, as long as he can fuck one girl after the other, or freely go to the park, the cafe, or HIS house. I mean, it's a complete 180 from chapter 6, he doesn't hide anymore, does he suddenly feel bullet-proof or something?
One big error in chapter 7: even if you don’t have sex with Mila, the variable is set to true. There are also 2-3 minor errors in previous chapters where there should be a variable check but there is none, so the discussion goes on about something that never happened. Sorry, I didn’t write them down as they were really minor.

Good sir! Your replay unlocker has the issue of only showing the missed scene and reverts the unlocked scenes to locked in the gallery.

Still getting the same issue, mate. It locks scenes already seen and unlocks locked scenes via the Main Menu Gallery. I'm unsure about via the in-game gallery. I hope this helps.
