Playing on the Alpha 2.11 version and I found a freezing bug with the Scout, which is similar to what another person experienced before. Full disclosure, I do use cheat engine to freeze my stamina and max out my resources, but that's about it. When I reload and try to brute force the event/bug, I didn't use cheat engine, but the bug still kept happening
I had just fought an undead the first time that day. At night, when I do the "late night reading" option, the Scout event will occur, starting with "Burning the midnight oil?", but once that event is done, I think it immediately starts the next Scout event starting with "Make any progress uncovering the mysteries of the Undead?", and then whatever option I choose, it'll freeze and I can't do anything
Interestingly, in one of my many reload attempts, only one of the events (midnight oil) fired, but not the second one. In that attempt, the game went on fine, but the next day, I have the same problem. The second event (mysteries of the Undead?") fires, and then the next third event, starting with "Back at it again I see?", fires too, and then the game freezes

There was a nasty bug where if you used the spacebar to progress events it could break things. I fixed in in the upcoming version. There was also a sequence break where if you hired scout a little too late it could break, also fixed. The upcoming version will be out on saturday - if the issue persists then, definitely let me know!
I can confirm that, yes, when I went back to my save and ONLY used my mouse instead of also mashing through with the spacebar, the event went through fine and I didn't experience the freeze bug anymore. Cheers!
How do I brew potions to sell? I have reagents. I followed what the mage girl told me and unlocked the herbalism and the alchemical study skills. I can talk to her about alchemy now, but there never seems to come up an option to actually DO alchemy and brew potions.

If i remember correctly you do it during the second part of the day, like for example say you decide to go gather reagents first and after that i believe there should be an option for brewing potions with lucy if you have the right things unlocked.

I'm on day 339, playing with old saves since like version 1.2 or so, quite old, maxed out all upgrade in the inn, yet still not encountered the new character, am I doing wrong at something?
She only shows up during winter after day 200. If you are past winter she can't be collected in the current builds normally. In the upcoming update (2.23) there is a button which appears on the left side of screen if you missed her during winter and are playing on an old save which will just add her to your party. This is a stop-gap measure until the actual solution gets added in a future update.
I was playing hard to get by selecting the other option when Ellie asked for a threesome. Now she hasnt asked at all. Will she never ask? :/
You've locked if off in the current built. This won't always be the case.
I had max affinity with both of them , then in the night visited Ellie.
